This fabulous vintage Mexican Bracelet has a stunning design similar to the work of Antonio Pineda - it's signed with the initials AP but they differ from the more common Pineda hallmark and we're not sure who the artist is. It's a massive piece measuring 7" long, 1" wide and is quite heavy at 115.5 grams. Early style pin closure. No damage noted, just some light wear and tarnish and the Amethyst stones have the typical inclusions. A fantastic bracelet that any collector will love.

This elegant silver box was handcrafted in Mexico City during the 1940's. It measures 8"L X 3 1/2W " X 1" high & weighs 1 lb. 5 Oz. The subtle scallop design is worked into thick silver on all sides. The wood lined interior creates 3 compartments. Both wood and silver are in beautiful condition. Hallmarked for SANBORNS on the underside. Sterling modernist star earrings by the famous NYC silversmith, Ed Wiener, c.1952. These hand made asymmetrical stars with recessed oxydized silver solid centers and shiny silver forming the raised outline of the stars are expansive and exciting. They measure 1 3/8" at the widest and are in excellent condition. The screwback was put over the mark, so you see "ED ST". This was a frequent occurrence and the complete mark is under the soldered screwback...

Wonderfully designed seven oval cornflower blue sapphires(approx. 1/3 carat each) alternating with eight diamonds(approx 1 pt. each) set in a 10k ring, c.1940's. A stunning vintage Mexican bracelet in sterling silver in the classic Fred Davis Chevron design. Featured in Mexican Silver, by Morrill and Berk on page 27. Measures approximately 7 7/8 " long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. The craftsmanship and construction on this bracelet point to Fred Davis' work. Pre Eagle, (1948). Looks great on!

Cast pewter and gilt pendant with a squirrel, by Volmer Bahner, c 1940, made to look like bronze. VB (1912 – 1995) was a Danish designer who in his jewels usually worked with enamel and silver. However, during WWII silver and even bronze was sometimes hard to find and cheaper material such as pewter was used as a substitute. Machine-age styling give these sterling silver earrings a clean, distinctive look. They have a warm patina from age, and exhibit very little wear; the clip backs are marked Trifari and are in good working order. The earrings are marked sterling and probably date around 1950. This is the "Bar Braid Pin" by Hector Aguilar featured on page 150 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny C. Morrill. She dates it circa 1940 and it is in 940 silver. Measuring 2 7/8" by 1/2", it weighs 13 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed as shown. One of his very famous designs.

A fine vintage 14K white gold bypass style diamond fashion ring, c 1940-1950. The top of each shoulder is set with three 2.4mm, round single cut diamonds that are Sl1-Sl2 in clarity and H-J in color. Centered, raised and prong set, are three modern round brilliant cut diamonds that measure 3.5mm, 3.7mm, and 3.5mm. All are the Sl clarity range and G-K in color.
