A pair of hammered sterling silver buckles by Edward H. Breese, who worked in Chicago from 1921-1940.

Measure 2" across and 1 3/4" high. Each one is marked on the back with the hallmark of EHB in a triangle and style number 126. They are also marked Sterling and Hand Wrought.

They are made from thick sterling and have a dark patina. Would make wonderful brooches.

Rare example from a talented Silversmith.

A vintage sterling silver hammered cuff bracelet made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge. This bracelet measures about 7 3/4" around and 3/8" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. Fine work, quality piece.

Pair of floral design period retro sterling, turquoise, and rubies scatter pins, c.1940's. They each have five curved and crimped petals with a 4-pronged ruby(5 points each) between each petal and a center turquoise stone. There are a total of 10 rubies. Each pin measures 1 1/4" in diameter and is 1/2" high. Unusual and very cute. Excellent condition, except that one ruby has a small "bite" but is held firmly in place by the prongs...

It has a safety clasp, it is stamped STERLING with an unidentified maker's mark (it may be a C with an arrow, possibly either Whiteside and Blank or an incomplete Carl-Art mark). A vintage sterling silver hand wrought brooch with a Poppy theme by Stavre Gregor Panis, who was a member of the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts.

Measures 3" long and 1 3/4" at the widest. Weighs 14 Gr.

Marked with the SGP in a shield hallmark and Sterling.

Lightly hammered. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has a warm patina with minor tarnish.

This is one of the finest Panis brooches we have seen.

Circa 1930, 7 diamond band set in 18k white gold. Each diamond weighs approximately .02ct for a total weight of .14cttw. All are prong-set and well matched in color and clarity. The width of the top portion of the ring is 2.5 mm. It is marked "18k" on the inside and is in very good condition. It is a size 7 but could be sized easily by a competent jeweler.

Mexico City Folkloric style was made popular by Matilde Poulat but there were other noted Maestros also producing stunning jewels of this style. P.OCHOA is one of those artists that I look for. The silver is thick repousse with unique skilled carving to the tops. This bracelet listed shows off a green oval stone in the center of a 1 5/8ths inches high center medallion. Mystery mark reward below. This seahorse motif Arts Crafts or Modernist pin brooch is as found unpolished unmarked for silver content (yet tests at least 90%) is stamped with silversmith's mark of superimposed CW or WC.
The chased seahorse, coral and other sea life motifs appear to be applied on to a slightly convex 55mm (2 1/8") round
Weighs approx 18 grams. Safety clasp. Still unpolished and tests at least 90% yet may be higher than sterling...

Unmarked unsigned tested sterling silver pendant necklace with old spring ring closure. Unsigned maybe Arts Crafts or Art Deco era, yet mostly hand made in the Modernism and Arts Crafts tradition. The hand wrought "cage like" pendant holds a 9mm undrilled jade jadeite or nephrite orb then ends with a chain tassel for a total of 1.5".
The 17" chain ends in a pesky old style spring ring clasp that is marked sterling. Needs a good polishing...
