This opulent yellow gold award comprises the brooch pin and hanging award shield on a navy blue grosgrain ribbon. The pin is engraved "HIGH SCHOOL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 1921" and the medallion has "WEST YORK" on the front and "FIRST HONORS S.S. # 32 DORIS COLEMAN" on the reverse. West York was the name of an area of Toronto and SS #32 was Baby Point school opened in 1915...

This is a STERLING COWBOY ON HORSE CHARM, the back legs do MOVE to show a Running position. The measurements are 1 1/16" X 5/8". Marked c on the bottom with no other marks; however, tested and guaranteed STERLING. Nice detail.

A 950 silver Komai damascene panels bracelet circa 1900 1920. This scarce bracelet from Japan features eleven 1-1/16" x 3/8" loop-linked panels with inlaid silver and gold on a black matte (actually iron) ground. The panels resemble those in room dividing screens, and each has a different design and a simple engraved design on the back of the silver sections. A handsome set of two-sided cufflinks, the round faces enhanced with off-centered concentric engraved lines radiating out from the sapphires. The overall effect is like a blue sun sinking below the horizon. The sapphires have nice pale violet blue color typical of Ceylon stones. The backs are marked 14K and have the maker’s mark for Fisher & Co.

This 13-3/4" length watchchain consists of 5/8" x 1/16" wide rectangular alternating white and yellow gold sections with oval loops between. This fine brooch is sterling silver. It is circa 1920, I believe. Each disk is encircled by sterling then black glass with clear rhinestones, encircling more beveled, black glass (perhaps crystal). It measures 1 3/4" x 3/4". The back is marked STER inside a fish with an L in its mouth for Fishel Nessler & Co., New York, NY. It is also marked PAT'D APRIL 14'05. It is in excellent condition.
