One of the most elusive pieces designed by Danish modernist Hans Hansen, this sterling silver neck ring has been in my collection for a long time. The idea was to get a pendant by the same designer so as to complete the necklace but it never happened and I decided to give that same opportunity to someone else out there. So if you have been looking for a Hansen neck ring and have not been able to find one, here is your golden chance...

A vintage pair of natural Russian chunk amber cufflinks. These cufflinks measure 1-1/8 x 7/8" and they have chunk amber retaining links joined by metal loops. This 7 ¼ millimeters cultured pearl ring enhanced on either side of the pearl by a single-cut diamond. The 10Kt yellow gold ring from the mid 20th century is a size 7 and it can easily be sized.

A handsome gentleman’s ring, the front in the form of a horseshoe encircling an onyx cameo carved to depict a steeplechase scene of a jockey and horse leaping over a fence. Interestingly, the carver chose not to polish the black onyx background, perhaps to lend a more masculine feel to the design. The shank is finished in a reeded pattern. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

A stunning Art Nouveau medallist brooch depicting Athena, goddess of wisdom and war, and patron of the arts, in 18K gold. The goddess is depicted with several of her attributes, including a dragon-topped war helmet, a wreath of olive leaves, an owl, and a drama mask representing the arts. Her helmet is studded with a star-set ruby and a band of rose-cut diamonds and she wears a necklace of rose-cut diamonds. This pretty pin combines the styles of Art Nouveau and Edwardian jewelry. We are attributing it to Whiteside & Blank, although it’s unsigned (not unusual for the time), since it’s remarkably similar to another piece by them. The pin consists of a gold framework enameled in very pale green – almost white - in a formal Edwardian key pattern. In the middle is a sprig of gold leaves with a pearl berry; the stem twines around the framework...

Good things come in small packages. This charming pin is small but beautiful. It is made of 800 silver, enameled on both front and back, and centered with a square-cut peridot. A lovely mid-Victorian piece of hair jewellery in 10k yellow gold c1860-80. This 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" pendant features a fine hand engraved (unmarked but tested) gold surround with a central concave transluscent moonstone agate, on which is mounted a gold-bordered hair insert. A pretty shell cameo of a young woman set in a particularly nice 10K yellow gold frame. The carving is well done, making good use of the color subtleties in the shell. The rose motif of the frame echoes the flowers carved into the cameo. The back retains the original folding bail, pinstem and clasp. The reverse is stamped with the “ESEMCO” mark for Shiman Jewelry Co. and also "10K".

A 10K white gold Art Deco filigree pin with a paste sapphire stone from the 1920s. This lovely vintage 1-3/4 x 1/2" brooch features a square cut blue un-foiled paste stone that has been bezel set. These are wonderful ca 1840 gold and enamel earrings. They are approximately 1" in length from the top of the hook to the bottom of the ball. They are 1/2"+ wide. Without the hook they are 11/16" long.

This is truely a "rare" mystical dragon brooch and/ or pendant by Cyvra. This is the design she made for Oleg Cassini.

Early hand made eye/eyelash sterling and matrix turquoise earrings by famous modernist Sam Kramer, NYC, c.1955. Each matrix turquoise comes from a different mine - one is greenish turquoise with black material (right) and the other is blue turquoise with brown(left) material. Obviously hand made, with each earring charmingly differently shaped than the other. They each measure approx. 1 1/8" long by 3/4"-1" wide. Each is signed STERLING mushroom mark(for Kramer) and are in excellent condition....

This bracelet is the work of Horatio de la Parra, whose company Plateria Azteca produced hollowware for both William Spratling and Hector Aguilar.

It's an early piece, dating to the 1940's. Six repoussé silver panels, each with a high domed amethyst cabochon, make for a regal deco design bracelet which closes with a pin.

This large brooch / pin measures 3" x 2 7/8" at highest and widest. It features a foliate branch motif with a flowerhead and applied bud in the middle. It is from the Late Arts and Crafts Era: circa 1940's. It weighs approximately 24 grams.

This Fred Davis bracelet pulls out all the stops. It's a magnificent piece with six huge amethysts and a sleek silver design with opposing "V's". A link chain with a past, looking good in the present. This is a late 19th century chunky gold plated link chain comprised of two-banded circle links, Measurements: 15" long x 3/8" wide. Very good vintage condition, wear to the plate.

This very stylish 18Kt yellow and white gold bow pin was made in Italy in the 1960-s. The two different colors of gold have two different finishes, and the center is accented by three single cut diamonds. The height of the pin is 2 ¼” and the width at the widest part is 2 ¼”.

Tane Orfebres is an important silver house in Mexico City, known as the Tiffany of Mexico. This bracelet is wide, heavy, and gorgeous. An outstanding 14K yellow gold dachshund angel pin by famed Beverly Hills jewelry designer, William Ruser. The dog, shown sitting up in a begging position, is beautifully detailed. A very good Georgian watch fob seal worked in 15K yellow gold with ornate floral repousse floral decoration. The section connecting the fob frame to the bail is chased in a foliate pattern that matches the floral theme. A very fine and heavy pair of French 18K gold cufflinks in the Aesthetic taste. The faces are hand-pierced and patinated in a bronze-brown shade with darker highlights in the recesses. A modernist pendant by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant is made of sterling silver in the shape of a stylized leaf with a wire overlay which wraps around to become the bale. Lovely sterling silver brooch worked in soft white guilloche enamel and featuring a painted enamel bouquet of blue gentians. The workmanship is very fine. The back is marked "S925S" and retains the original c-clasp which indicates an early date.
