This William Spratling necklace is from his second design period, with hallmarks dating 1949-1951. Shown in "William Spratling and the Mexican Silver Renaissance", and Spratling Silver: A Field Guide", it's a spectacular piece, with inlaid triangular azur-malachite throughout. Collector quality. Measures a closed, wearable length of 18 1/2". Centerpiece measures 3 1/4" x 1 1/2". Weight is 138.1 grams. Signed and hallmarked "Spratling de Mexico Sterling", along with the eagle assay 13.

A third design period sterling silver and tortoise cuff bracelet by William Spratling.

This cuff measures 5 1/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures 1 5/8" at the widest. Marked with the script WS and 925, Spratling Taxco Mexico in a circle mark, and Eagle #30. The tortoise is in fine condition with very minor scratches. The end rivet is out a little more than the rest. The finish near the seams is a bit irregular. Has some tarnish and some very small nicks along the edge...

This vintage size 7-1/4 or 7.25 ring features a 5/16" x 1/4" natural oval cabochon pink coral claw-set stone and abstract arrow cutout shoulders. It weighs 1.9 grams, it is stamped 10 K and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

There is rhodium plated metal brooch with black and red enmael. There is some wear to the enamel of the pelican's bill. All the pave rhinestones appear to be bright.

There is a Hallmark that is barely visible Made in USA and a symbol which I cannot photograph which appears to be a star with circle made of dots (Fred Gray).

This bar pin is an original period piece from the 1920’s. The top is made of 14Kt white gold and the bottom is yellow gold. The open filigree work is typical of the above mentioned period. The center of the design is enhanced by an approximately 0.08Ct full cut diamond. The length of the pin is 2 3/8” and the width is ¼”. The clasp is clearly marked 14Kt incorporated into the maker’s mark.

A stunning vintage Mexican bracelet in sterling silver in the classic Fred Davis Chevron design. Featured in Mexican Silver, by Morrill and Berk on page 27. Measures approximately 7 7/8 " long and 1 1/8" wide. In very nice condition, has some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. The craftsmanship and construction on this bracelet point to Fred Davis' work. Pre Eagle, (1948). Looks great on!

A spectacular pair of Georgian natural seed pearl chandelier earrings, boxed, made in England, mid 19th C, Pendeloque style having tiny seed pearls threaded with gut onto mother of pearl backs, set on marked 18K white gold screw backs. A palladium blue sapphire and two opals ring from the 1910-20 era...

This beautiful ring is a size 7. The rose quartz is and setting are beautiful. The bezel-set, stone, cabochon measures 5/8" x 3/8". The inside of the band is marked what looks like 930. It tests sterling silver. It is in excellent condition.

This huge sterling silver ring has a great design. The stone is colorful, with a mixture of greens, blacks, browns and more. It is bezel-set in a Mexican or Native American type setting. The back is flat and measures 1 3/8" x 1 1/8". The stone protrudes 3/4". The ring is just over a size 5. The shank is marked 925. This ring has good heft, weighing 1/2 ounce and is in excellent condition.

Calling the vintage Mexican silver and black stone "mask" ring I am presenting here massive is not an exaggeration. It is not just the actual ring size (9.5 US) that makes it so; it is also the textured, solid setting, quite masculine in design, and the beautifully carved, stupendous effigy it houses. I am not sure what the stone is - I think it might be onyx but it could also be black agate. I am fascinated by its opaque gravity and the way its satin finish invites the touch. And what about tho...

Arts & crafts style handmade and very large sterling and hematite clip earrings, c.1960's. These hand hammered earrings have a round hematite stone double bezel set at the top and moving silver dangles at the bottom. Quite large, they measure 2 1/4" long by 1 1/2" wide. Signed on the clips "STERLING star mark" and on the back of the earrings hand lettered "925 CCLEV(or CDEV)". Excellent condition.
