A late Medieval signet ring of silver engraved with strong cross cultural references of the pelican in her piety and navigation symbols of the moon and stars. During the medieval period many were illiterate and pictorial signet rings served the practical purpose of bearing a mark that when impressed upon clay would authenticate documents. The Pelican in her piety refers to the medieval fable of the pelican drawing blood from her breast to feed her chicks...

An elegant square locket worked in 14K yellow gold. The locket is simply decorated with an engraved laurel leaf border. The cover is set with four rubies surrounding a demantoid garnet. The bail is placed at a corner, so the locket hangs in a diamond shape. The interior retains the original frame insert...

Very early 980 silver FISH clip by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. It is signed "WS TAXCO 980" and measures 1 3/4" square and is worn vertically with the fish head facing downwards. A vintage modernist pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by noted Mid Century jeweler, Bill Tendler. Look like twisted ribbons.

Measure 1 3/8" high. Marked TENDLER Sterling. Screw backs hold securely. Earrings are mirror images so frame the face when worn.

Well crafted, quality pair.

Composed of oblong and rounded sides decorated with Middle Eastern-style motifs of embedded silver vines, leaves and stars. The cuff links are unmarked, but test definitively for silver. The bridge chains are securely fastened and composed of figure 8-like links; the wood and silver decoration exhibit no cracks or other signs of wear. The rounded sides measure just under ½ inch diameter. They are dated conservatively at around 1960.

A delightful Art Nouveau 18K yellow gold slide locket, the cover ornately decorated with a rooster crowing at a rose cut diamond sun. The scene is completed with farm implements in the foreground and a view of wheat field in the distance. The rooster is, of course, a national symbol of France. Though most slide lockets were made in France, this example does not have French hallmarks. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

Sleek, Stylish, and no damage this Hector Aguilar bracelet with a 107 gram weight and 7 inches long. An astonishing acquisition for any collector! Called NEW MAGUEY but Old and produced in the 1940's. Big and heavy with outstanding quality, repousse and deeply hand carved. A very unique hand wrought large pendant in sterling silver, reminds us of a large paperclip. Made from a thick curled sterling wire. Signed M. Bowles Sterling and Hand Wrought on the back.

The pendant measures 3" long and 1 1/4" at the widest. It is in fine condition with some minor surface scratches. The pendant alone weighs 19 gr.

It is suspended from a silver neck ring, (probably sterling) which measures about 15" around and has a secure hook closure...

An outstanding pair of heavy French Art Deco 18K yellow and white gold cufflinks set with cabochon garnets. Each of the faces comprises a set of three gold discs—two yellow and one white—stacked and offset to one side. The upper discs are pierced by a bright cabochon garnet. The design has a severe, almost industrial modernist, look that was surely very unusual in its time. The backs are stamped with French 18K marks and the master goldsmith’s mark for Paul Marteau...

A very handsome 14K yellow dress set comprising cufflinks and four shirt studs. The faces are formed as slightly arched rectangular faces with canted corners and ropetwist borders. Each face is centered by an oval blue star sapphire, and the cufflinks also feature a pair of gypsy-set diamonds on each side of the star sapphire. The faces have a matte Russian finish that contrasts handsomely with the highly polished rope borders...

A fascinating pair of double-sided Continental silver cufflinks, each face featuring the image of Medusa. The faces are intended to suggest ancient coins, but the stylized lines are very much in the Cubist style. Though her appearance was capable of turning a man to stone, Medusa's image was often used to ward off evil spirits. The backs are stamped with French import marks.

Beautiful unusual vintage 1930s Art Deco necklace with multi color beads wired in dark goldtone metal, in a bib design. With large opaque cube shaped black beads, and small faceted transparent beads in green, pink, red, aqua, pale blue, and yellow, arranged in single drops and in sprays of four. Stunning antique Austro Hungarian silver girandole drop earrings in 935 silver with glass paste stones, in an 18th century style.
