Lariat necklaces are a favorite of mine and when I come upon a good Mexican example, I make every effort to bring it to One Good Eye Silver. Truth be told, they don't come up as often as other forms but it is an exciting quest to pursue. The late Deco / retro piece I am presenting here is a clipless version - you can adjust it by tying a loose knot at the desired height and change the way it looks whenever you feel like it...

Here is a beautiful, ornate, Norwegian sterling silver and enamel bracelet. It consists of 8 butterfly-shaped, linked panels of pearly white guilloche enamel. Each panel has a lovely applied wirework decoration with beaded center. The bracelet has a safety chain and a V-spring and box clasp, on which, “925 S STERLING NORWAY” is marked, along with a maker’s mark of (what looks to me like) an “E” inside a lobed oval. (I am unfamiliar with this artist’s hallmark)...

An Edwardian 18K & platinum English diamond ring - Size 6-1/2. This lovely English ring features a 5-6 point high set diamond (by gauge) with nicely designed flank or shoulder decoration in platinum (white gold hadn't been used in jewellery yet). This attractive ring measures 13/16" along the 5/16" wide (across the stone) platinum front, it weighs 2.2 grams and it is stamped 18Ct & PLAT. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

Classic Antonio Pineda bracelet that is board room sleek with a look that goes anywhere. The bracelet has a 2.5in. diameter and 5/8th in. high stature. There is a light amount of patina which will be left for the buyer to do with as they prefer. The hallmark is signed correctly as shown. It is hard to find one in this condition without dents or damage. I believe the stones to be a low sheen obsidian. Everything goes with the color black. Collector quality

A 14k white gold pearls lily of the valley brooch circa 1950. This elegant vintage 2-1/4" x 1" brooch has six 8mm. cultured pearls and it appears to be a stylized lily of the valley floral spray - a perfect gift for that May birthday. The leaves are hand engraved and the slightly baroque pearls have a nice pinkish lustre; this pin is stamped 14K and it weighs 6.4 grams...

This vintage14Kt yellow gold and carved carnelian necklace is 16” long and the carved carnelian pendant hangs 1 ½” from the bottom of the necklace. There are three 5 mm carnelian beads and two flat, three-dimensional fluted beads create the art deco pattern of the necklace.

A handsome pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks by Tiffany & Co. set with square cut sapphires. The cufflinks are fashioned in a sort of modified belt buckle motif. The sapphires have very good uniform color and show no indication of heat treatment. The backs are stamped Tiffany & Co. and also have the manufacturing jeweler’s mark for Larter.

An Art Deco Danecraft deer in the woods sterling pin from the 1930s-1940s. This great vintage sterling silver 2-1/8" x 1-3/4" brooch depicts a deer feeding in the forest. This pin features a safety catch, a true Deco style, and it is stamped STERLING with an HB maker's mark, and a somewhat scratched out Danecraft mark can be seen. Not sure how long this mark was used, but we have seen this combination on a few older Danecraft pieces...

Four hand hammered solid gold bangles bought in Egypt during the 60's. They are unmarked and guaranteed. For a smaller hand and slightly out of round, the inner diameter on all measures 2-1/2". Total weight 39gr. Sold as is.

Vintage sterling silver pin or brooch designed and signed circa 1942 by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pin measures 1 5/8" X 1 1/4". Beautiful condition. The dress clip pin back is tight and secure. Pictured on Phyllis Goddards' spratlingsilver.com. Spratling used this "Continental Solidarity" design on his personal stationary. These illustrious earrings are an early example of the luminary, Norwegian silversmith’s artistry. They were made while she was at Norway Designs Plus Studio. Circa 1770 Silver seal fob. It is hand engraved with an H monogram. It is beautifully done and well decorated on the top. It would be the perfect thing to hang from an old watch chain. It is unmarked and in excellent condition. The seal portion is oval measuring approximately 7/8" long and 3/4" wide. The fob is 1.25" tall. The overall weight is 12.6 grams.

This Korda 'riding guard' from the Thief of Bagdad is gold plated base metal. This item was inspired by the guards on horseback who, in the film, make their way through the crowd, for the princess' arrival.
