The early hallmarks on this brooch date 1940-1945. This pin was designed by Valentin Vidaurreta. Shown with onyx stones on p.79, II-12 in "Silver Masters of Mexico", also noted in this book is that Vidaurreta produced work both in his own workshop and at the Taller Borda, and that the pieces sold at Taller Borda were marked with the HA mark until the 1950's. Here is a sterling silver pin of signature design by the Danish maker Niels Erik From. It is composed of stylized rounded leaves and berries on a stem, enhanced by applied patination, and is secured by a rollover safety clasp. The maker’s mark is impressed on the back. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 inch wide.

A lovely small locked in the form of a four-leaf clover worked in 18K yellow gold. One petal is set with a round ruby. Each of the leaves is shaped in an exaggerated heart form, perhaps to suggest the beloved contents of the interior. The interior retains the original frames and glass covers, as well as photos of the original owner’s young husband and little girl in period clothing. The locket and jump ring are both stamped with French gold marks...

A very nice late Victorian hinged bangle bracelet worked in a pierced scrolling design. The front features a row of three square cabochon rhodolite garnets set diagonally. The rhodolites have a lovely purplish hue that distinguishes them from their more common all reddish-brown garnet cousins. The bangle is fairly wide, but the piercing gives it an elegant lightness. Beautiful large aquamarine 18k gold ring in period retro setting, c.1940's. Emerald cut stone is approx. 10-13 carats(measuring 3/4" long by 5/8" wide by 7/16" deep. A delicate trace link gold chain with faceted synthetic amethysts and freshwater pearls. The four stones are collet-set with open back. There is a slight blemish on the table of one amethyst and the chain may have been shortened. The pearls are not perfectly matched and show light wear. Marked 15c on the spring clasp. This is an antique Scottish silver pebble florette pin that is 2 1/4” in diameter and is heavy and really well made. The stones are MONTROSE grey striped banded agate, carnelian and bloodstone and the center piece is brandy colored cairngorn stone that is hand cut. The setting is really heavy and thick and you can tell this was hand wrought. The stones are arranged in a geometrical pattern fitted into a circular brooch.

Here is a nicely crafted mixed metal pin designed with stylized silver oak leaves, berries and vines applied to a curved copper plaque.
