This pin measures 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/2". It is a beautiful depiction of an angelfish with a colorful, carved scarab, agate body, inside a gold filled setting, marked 1/20 12K GF wRe. This piece, circa 1950, was made by the W. E. Richards Company founded in 1902 and known for its use of 10K-14K gold overlay on sterling silver, along with using high quality stones.

Elegant pair of 18k yellow and white gold, cultured pearl and diamond pierced earrings, circa 1950's. Nice vintage sterling silver cufflinks, the faces decorated with an appliqued anchor and chain. The toggle backs are hinged so that the faces lie flat against the cuff. The toggles are marked "Sterling" and also have a patent number for the toggle mechanism.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 11/16" x 11/16". Weight: 15.25 grams.

This elaborately worked bracelet, done by hand, was made by Maciel Silver Factory of Mexico, c.1950’s. It is marked “925/1000," "MACIEL" (maker's mark), "STERLING MADE IN MEXICO” (see pictures). The central, convex, Aztec god oval measures 1 3/4” x 1 1/4” while the cuff with the eagle warrior masks measures 1 3/8”. This piece is in excellent condition.

This very attractive pair of earrings combines hammered and fluted designs. The pear shaped tops have posts and push backs, and the bottom pendulum part moves freely. Despite the size of the earrings, 2” high and ½” wide, they are relatively light weight and are very comfortable to wear.

This delicate link bracelet features four oval cabochons, each prong-set in a decorative sterling frame. Sterling openwork panels, each set with a single marcasite, connect the frames. The ornate settings give the piece a more formal feel than Deco; possibly this dates later, perhaps the 1950s. The spring-ring clasp is secure, and is marked sterling; one of the connecting panels is also marked sterling on the back. The bracelet measures about 7¼ inches long by about 5/8 inch wide.

Delicate, leafy openwork distinguishes the sterling silver frame of this 1950s pin. It is set with a chrysoprase disk that has a transluscent ‘cobblestone’ pattern when held to the light. The back is marked sterling, and has a secure rollover safety clasp. The stone is in lovely condition; the pin looks to have been hardly worn. Total diameter is 1 3/8 inches.

Composed of a hammered-look, lozenge-shaped panel decorated with applied silver wire and beads, this impressive pin evokes a German arts and crafts influence. The faceted stone is almost clear and tests strongly as quartz/amethyst/citrine; in certain light it looks like a smoky quartz or very light citrine. The stone sits securely within a modified bezel mounting and shows no wear or scratching. The C-clasp on the back is well soldered and secure, as is the pin stem...

 

A most elegant unsigned piece. The translucent glass stones shimmer in a rich red color. The stones are very interesting since the front side of the large square stones are beveled, while the under side of those stones are dome shaped with a carved checkerboard pattern. This makes all the more shimmer when the piece moves. The age of the necklace is hard to determine, probably mid 1900's, possibly the 1940's...

This De Nicola Pices tart sign brooch is gold plated base metal, with rhinestones and enameling and faux coral. It is hallmarked DeNicola C. It is 1 3/4" x 1q 7/8" It is in excellent condition.

This Pennino necklace has the look of diamonds and amethysts that you would find in fine jewelry in a platinum setting. However,this necklace is rhodium plated and hallmarked Pennino. It is 16 1/2" long and 3/4" wide... The swirls connecting each rosette are covered in clear rhinestones as is most of the rest of the necklace. It's gorgeous.

This bracelet was made as a souvenir for visitors to the Maria Laach Abbey, a Benedictine abbey in northwestern Germany. It has large, curved links of copper and white metal, from which drops a glazed ceramic disc mounted in white metal. The disc is decorated with a geometrical design in red on a yellow and green background, with a black diamond shape in the center. It is marked on the back of the mount with the abbey’s logo. A superb vintage 1950s period four strand necklace and matching clip-on earrings. This set consists of the 22-1/2" quadruple strand necklace and the 1-1/4" x 1-1/8" earrings. Each has gold plated mounts and the necklace has a snapover catch. The beads include molded turquoise glass, gold plated beads and facetted round and tubular black glass beads. The hourglass shaped pendant measures 2 1/4" high and 1 3/4" at the widest. Depicts an antelope or deer in copper overlay against a verdigris background. Great contrast of textures and colors. The leather cords and connectors measure 12 1/2" on either side...

Formed as a square panel with rounded corners, featuring an incised seaweed-like design enhanced by oxidation, this Joseph Skinger design is called "Pine Needle." The pin has its original rollover clasp, which is quite secure. It is marked sterling and has Skinger’s script signature. Joseph Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. The pin measures a little over 1 3/8 inches square. Weight: 7.5 grams
