Very good vintage condition displaying intended oxidation

17 in. long 1 1/8th in. tall weight 85 grams This Fred Davis was designed by Valentin Vidaurreta. It was later produced by Hector Aguilar for Valentin Vidaurreta which is also listed on my site. This trapezoid shape has a higher peak and each link is a bit larger than the design made by Aguilar. The design is shown in the book WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE. I could not produce photos to do this justice and only on will the shields come more tightly together...

A multi-talented award-winning artist, Arno Malinowski worked for Georg Jensen for several years and created some iconic designs for the company. His most popular pieces are brooches wrought in sterling and inspired by the natural world - deer, birds, dolphins, alone or in delicately depicted foliage, their bodies rendered with such sensitivity, one feels compelled to constantly run one's fingers over them. The bird portrayed in the brooch at hand is illustrative of what I am trying to say...

Two pair of vintage Mexican Sterling Silver screw back earrings by Sigi Pineda in modernist designs. May be purchased together or as two separate pairs.

One pair has a polished layer of sterling intertwined with an textured layer for an interesting contrast. Measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" across. Marked Sigi Tasco, and Eagle #36. There are some more markings which are under the screw back and can't be read. In fine condition with some minor tarnish...

Circa 1910, old mine cut diamond ring. Set in 14k rose gold and platinum, this 1.68 ct diamond has an EGL certificate stating it is N color and SI1 clarity. For such an old stone, it is beautifully set and nicely sparkly. It is almost an oval shape, but looks larger than its weight. The ring has 10 additional old mine cuts that total an additional .25 ct. The ring is a size 6 and the overall weight is 3.6 grams. It is in excellent condition.

This ring has a great design and measures just over 1/2" wide. It is a size 11. It is marked MEXICO TM-158 925. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

A 19th century Dutch red glass necklace with a 14k carnelian clasp. This Victorian era 19th century 36-1/4" hand cut red glass bead necklace is complete with a Dutch hallmarked 14k yellow gold clasp. The beads have a rich red garnet colour and the 1/2" diameter box clasp has a natural carnelian stone with an inset gold flourish at the center...

This is a really neat, rare, old charm. It is the game of Pachinko: an old Japanese lottery game. It is 14K gold and made by A.C. It features a rotating canister with little balls inside that move. The red and white balls are little stones; I believe the white one is a pearl. The bottom reads 14K A.C. It's in excellent condition.

Signed: ORLANDO. These Victorian to late Deco era gold gilt on brass adjustable rings do not survive because brass anything was usually tossed out.

30mm black glass oval set within a serrated bezel setting with applied leaves and other decorations.
It is in quite good antique condition considering it is decades old and not saved.
Presently @ ~ 7, yet can be gently coaxed either way...

The busy, ever-changing worlds of the bottom of the sea and the shores of tranquil lakes unfold themselves in the carefully worked repousse silver frames surrounding the chunky turquoise "rocks" that adorn this early 20th c. Chinese necklace and earrings set. I never cease to be amazed at the amount of minute detail Chinese silversmiths were able to condense into such small spaces without ever losing the crispness of each motif...

These handsome gold tone square toggle back cufflinks add a dash to any french cuff, having a centered stylized diagonal, one half engraved, unmarked, circa 1960. Measures 5/8 in., minor wear.

This Victorian revival sterling silver cuff is elaborately decorated with repousse flowers and leaves, with a scrolled reserve at each end. It was made by Kirk & Son of Baltimore, MD, as part of a line of 19th-century-inspired jewelry, some made of pewter. This is one of the larger and more elaborate designs. The sterling and maker’s marks are inside the bracelet. Circumference is about 8 inches, including the 1/2-inch opening; the bracelet is slightly over 1 1/4 inches wide...

Beautiful sterling bracelet by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1948. The bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide by 7 1/4". It is signed "HA TAXCO 940 (bellmark) 9" and is in excellent condition......$21 for insured USA shipping and NYS residents pay sales tax.

A very fine Art Deco 14K yellow gold necklace of filigree links centering a collet-set carved jadeite disc suspending another filigree link and a large oval plaque of jadeite carved in a floral pattern. The workmanship of the filigree is superior, with finely detailed millegraining on nearly all the surfaces. The use of yellow gold in filigree jewelry of the period is quite unusual, but is very attractive as a foil to the rich green of the gemstones...

A modernist brooch by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. Made of sterling silver with a wire overlay. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling.

Measures 2 1/4" long and 1" across. Has a rollover closure that holds securely. Has some tarnish, and minor surface scratches . Could also be worn as a pendant with a chain through the large loop.
