This linked handmade silver bracelet features a series of hammered, oxidized panels with scalloped edges. The applied decoration consists of leaves and stylized vines in a pinwheel pattern, reminiscent of late arts and crafts design; the pinwheel motif is repeated on the four-lobed connecting links. All elements test for silver except the spring-ring clasp, which is in good working order and appears to be original...

Being offered is a rare circa 1940 sterling silver and jade bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. Early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Wide handwrought links with rows of jade cabochons. Tongue & box clasp. Dimensions: 7 1/2” size, panels are 1 5/8" wide. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition. A vintage 830 silver storyteller bracelet by David Andersen, Norway. Made up of alternating panels with what looks like a large lizard and a person on horseback yielding a sword and shield. There is some oxidation to the background for a contrasting effect.

Measures 7 1/4" long and just under an inch wide. Signed with the scales mark and 830S for the silver content on the back of the clasp.

These cuff links exhibit both a sturdy look and construction. They were probably produced for the tourist trade by different silversmiths in the same workshop, as each is slightly different from the other, mostly in the fins. The backs of one linked pair indicates the maker M. Velazquez; all are marked Sterling/Made in Mexico in the pre-1950s style. The back rings connect to short bridge chains; one rings is slightly bent but there is no damage or metal stress...

William Spratling's Mexican Silver locket which is 2in. long including the loop for a chain, 1.25 in. deep and 1in. across is featured in todays listing. The stones have striations front and back as most from this era of the Mexican Silver Renaissance do. This example is much better than most found. You can see that some rise to the top but the stones are stable and none go all the way thru or across the amethyst stone. The color is dark and beautiful...

This lovely moonstone, diamond and 14k yellow gold ring dates to about 1940 and is in excellent condition. The moonstone is a very nice deep cabochon measuring approximately 16mm long by 14mm wide. The ring is a size 6.75. The overall weight is 5.6 grams. The diamonds on the sides of the band are a very nice compliment to the center moonstone. It is in excellent condition and is ready for wear.
