A very handsome and unusual pair of cufflinks comprised of moss agate discs with 18K gold mountings. The stones are nicely colored, with lots of green “moss” suspended in the translucent background. This Korda 'riding guard' from the Thief of Bagdad is gold plated base metal. This item was inspired by the guards on horseback who, in the film, make their way through the crowd, for the princess' arrival. This item was manufactured by the Rice-Weiner & Co, of Providence, Rhode Island. Davis designed this Art Deco sterling & amethyst bracelet in the 1930"s. Signed FD SILVER MEXICO the bracelet is 6 3/4" long X 1" wide. Both silver and stones are in beautiful condition. Clasp is tight and secure. Fred Davis designs are included in the 20th century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Penny Morrill has written about and featured Fred Davis works in several of her books on Mexican silver including WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE.

Wonderful, versatile sterling Coro clips. They can be worn together as a brooch as shown here, or separated and worn as clips (great on a hat or belt). The set has a patent number which dates its production as beginning in 1931. The back of the Duette has the patent number and is marked sterling and Coro Duette. The earrings are marked sterling. Duette measures 2 1/2" high, 2" wide. Earrings are 1 3/8" high, 1/2" wide.

This Alexander Korda 'Thief of Bagdad' cloaked rider pin is silver colored base metal. This pin is considered a masterpiece of costume jewelry some of which were produced by Rice Weiner inspired by Korda's 1940 film.

This Silver Necklace by Fred Davis is a rare and seldom seen piece created in the 1930's. Featuring silver bands that are slightly curved to fit around the neck. It measures 1 1/2" wide by 15" long with a three hook closure. Nice and heavy at 137 grams. Marked with the joined FD, Sterling, Mexico. Light age related tarnish but no other damage. A truly fabulous and highly collectible piece.

Composed of six chased sterling lily pads that frame a large oval natural turquoise stone that is held in place by silver loops. There are applied silver beads in various locations. This brooch measures 2 1/2" by 2 1/8" and the turquoise stone measures 1 1/4" by 5/8". It is in fine original condition. The turquoise is free of chips or cracks and has beautiful matrix...

Lovely 14K yellow gold Retro Modern brooch set with blue sapphires and diamond. The wreath-like form of this pin is very unusual, and is especially effective when placed against dark fabric. One side of the wreath is anchored by a spray of sapphire "flowers" tied with a diamond-set ribbon. The setting is quite heavy. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.
