A sterling silver modernist brooch by Israel, 'Izzy' Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. He was the husband of MCM jeweler Phyllis Sklar.

This brooch is made of thick sterling tangled wire in a brutalist design. Measures 1 1/2" tall and 1 3/4" at the widest. Weighs 14 gr.

Has the stylized i sklar hallmark and sterling on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely.

Being offered is a rare circa 1955 sterling silver and obsidian stone bracelet by Alfredo Villasana of Taxco, Mexico. The handcrafted thick gauge silver cuff set with a large round obsidian stone secured by four spiral prong settings, secured with box clasp. Villasana worked for William Spratlng and Hector Aguilar before opening his own shop in Taxco. Dimensions: Size 8”; stone is 1 3/4" by 2 1/4"; band is 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. Being offered is a fine circa 1948 sterling silver necklace by Los Castillo, of Taxco, Mexico, each link handcrafted in a leaf motif with incised and oxidized detail. Hook clasp. Size 15” necklace. This mixed-metal sash buckle’s design is composed of swirling flowers, leaves, and a bud. The silver plate shows some wear - yellow metal shows through at some of the high points. We believe the gold to be about 9kt, and it’s some type of plating. The buckle measures 3 x 2-1/2" and weighs in 47.5 grams. Unmarked...

A vintage Tulip bracelet in sterling silver designed by the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen, #100B. This bracelet was purchased in Denmark and comes with the original box from the store on Østergade in Copenhagen.

Measures 7 1/4" long and 3/4" at the widest. Weighs 25 gr. Has a round box closure that holds securely. Additionally it has a fold over safety catch.

In fine condition with a warm patina. The light hammering is just wonderful...

A vintage modernist sterling silver bracelet by Taxco artisan, Erika Hult de Corral in a stylized chevron design. Marked Ric, Taxco SA, Hecho en Mexico, and 925. Also has style number 40.

Measures 6 1/4" around the inside and 2 3/4" long at the front. Better for a smaller wrist although I think it was made to stay in place and not spin around. Clasp snaps securely. There is a safety catch for extra security.

Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish...
