Ca 1940 A heavy, solid sterling choker and bracelet by Jensen USA designer, Laurence Foss( 1920-2014). It features hand applied, raised sterling leaves with beading. The choker weighs 63 grams, is approximately 16" in length and just shy of 1/2" in width. Both the bracelet and choker are marked with the LF logo, sterling, 450. The bracelet weighs 29 grams and is 7"x 1/2".

A vintage sterling silver and pearl Mid Century Modernist brooch in the brutalist style. Consists of eleven tentacles or rays with flattened ends. Has a large off center grey pearl.

Measures 2" across and 1 1/2" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely.

Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Pearl has some very minor scuffs.

Well made with a stunning design. Great studio piece.

A vintage sterling silver brooch with a high domed shaped light brown stone, (probably smoky topaz), cabochon by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulta of Finland. This modernist brooch measures 2 1/4" across and 1" high. Reminiscent of Native American designs. Marked with Kauppi's anvil mark, Sterling and Finland. Has an earlier style trombone clasp which holds securely. Fine condition. Wonderful example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.

Early pair of sterling and amethyst cuff bracelets by Victoria, Mexico, c.1940. They are each signed "VICTORIA TAXCO MADE IN MEXICO SILVER 103" and are in excellent condition. The front measures 1 3/8" at the opening and the inside circumference is 6 3/4" including the opening. Cuffs are flexible so easily go on and off. Will fit a medium to larger wrist. A sterling silver modernist brooch by Phyllis Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. This brooch has a thick sterling wire overlay with an oval moonstone cabochon on a darkened, oxidized surface. Measures 1 1/4" tall and 1 3/8" at the widest. Has the stylized 'p' hallmark, phyllis and sterling on the back. Nice contrast between the oxidized and shiny sterling layers. This is a large pair of William Spratling 1st phase shell earrings weighing in at 20 grams heavy. They are 1 3/8th's inches tall and .75in. wide at the widest. This hollow silver anklet is from the Nuristani area of Afghanistan. With the loose metal rattle rolling inside the hollow space, a soft noise was created as the wearer moves. This anklet has nice patina and has a few minor dents, which attest to the age and travels of the artifact.

EXTREMELY RARE: Large and very substantial(weighs 20 troy oz.) sterling OPEN serving bowl hand made by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. Beautifully hand hammered, this piece measures 11" by 7" by 2 1/2" high. It has a rounded bottom and sides with beautiful handles. The sides are rounded inward and will not accept a top. This lovely moonstone, diamond and 14k yellow gold ring dates to about 1940 and is in excellent condition. The moonstone is a very nice deep cabochon measuring approximately 16mm long by 14mm wide. The ring is a size 6.75. The overall weight is 5.6 grams. The diamonds on the sides of the band are a very nice compliment to the center moonstone. It is in excellent condition and is ready for wear.

A fascinating Victorian brooch set in 14K yellow gold. The octagonal plaque with canted corners appears to be made of opaque black glass and is inset with an ornate glass design worked in the pietra dura method. The translucent design is backed with gold foil to create a subtle glittery effect. The setting is very simple and does not detract from the more important enamel work. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.
