Extremely rare and large sterling figural pin by Abraham Paz, Mexico c.1930. He designed for Fred Davis, so it is clear that this famous design was created by Paz. Here, we see a variation on a theme, with a man wearing a serape and holding a rope. The signature is RARE showing the Paz mark, which this antique dealer has never seen before. It is signed "CAP(stylized) HECHO EN MEXICO D.E. A.PAZ 0.925" and is in excellent condition. Of very good size, it measures 2 3/4" high by 1 5/8" wide...

Known as the Josephine Baker bracelet, this c1935 Bakelite and brass cuff was originally designed to hold face powder and a small square powder puff. The inner diameter of the cuff is 2 1/4" (6 cm) x 2" (5.5 cm). The opening is 1 1/4" (3.5 cm). At the widest part, the cuff measures 1 11/16" (4.9 cm). It tapers to 1/2" (1.2 cm) at the open ends. Though the powder and puff are no longer with us, the compact area is clean and has a 1 1/4" (3.5 cm) square opening and a 1/4" (.6 cm) depth...

Cast and gilt brass brooch from the 1930’s, probably French. Relief decoration of bamboo and Japanese / Chinese characters. Width "1 ¾ / 4,8 cm. Condition: some wear to the gilt (cf. pics.). A bracelet of the same design is being offered in another GC listing.

This Coro enamel trembler lotus flower brooch matches the duettes.

The stamens are mounted on a spring ( en tremblant) so they can be made to quiver. This is definitely one of the most sought after brooches. I have never seen any other anywhere.

There is rhodium plated metal brooch with black and red enmael. There is some wear to the enamel of the pelican's bill. All the pave rhinestones appear to be bright.

There is a Hallmark that is barely visible Made in USA and a symbol which I cannot photograph which appears to be a star with circle made of dots (Fred Gray).

Add some flower power to your outfit with this vintage enamel and gold filled pin. Layers of heart-shaped white enamel petals rimmed with a gold and a nicely detailed center enhance the beauty of this flower. Back is gold plate embossed with hearts, circa 1930, unmarked. Measures 2" x 1 3/4". Excellent vintage condition.

Handsome cufflinks with hexagonal faces linked by chains to torpedo backs. The faces are engraved with an intricate engine-turned design. The backs are marked with Finnish hallmarks for Helsinki. The maker’s mark is illegible, but the gold content is “890” which translates to around 21K.

Origin: Finland, circa 1930. Condition: excellent, all original, one torpedo has a few dings on the underneath side. Size: faces, 5/8” wide. Weight: 5.0 grams.

This bracelet is constructed of brass and glass but has the look and heft of a quality piece of precious jewelry. It has a machine-age design of hinged semi-circular pieces connected with concealed pins, allowing it to comfortably hug the wrist without separating. It is set with square-cut pieces of yellow glass resembling citrines; one of the prongs shows some tool marks and looks to have been tightened, but all ‘stones’ are secure. The glass pieces show a few minor scratches...

A vintage Art Deco period 14-1/4" cherry red celluloid & brass choker necklace c1930s0. It is made of cherry celluloid hearts and barrel beads with brass mountings. This cheery choker necklace measures 1/2" across the hearts, it has a gilt brass clasp, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor gold plating loss to the clasp...

Beautifully detailed, this delicately hand forged sterling silver necklace and earrings set was designed by Frederick Davis in his very early years living in Mexico City. The necklace measures 16 1/2" long. The central "mask" is 3/4" high. The earrings are also 3/4" high. The Fred Davis FD hallmark is on the necklace clasp. At some point in later years the earrings were converted to posts and are no longer hallmarked...

This Scottish blood stone, brass & cairngorn brooch is 1 3/4" in diameter. The brass fillagree base is very similar to Miriam Haskell backs. There are for round blood stone disks measuring 3/8" in diameter and 4 diamond shaped.

Blood stone is Plasma with red sports of iron oxide. Plasma is dark green, opaque chalcedonly quartz with the color coming from the chlorite.
