This impressive sterling silver & obsidian pendant & chain was designed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling in the late 1940's. The pendant with bail is 3 1/2" high X 2" wide. The heavy, original sterling chain is 18" long. The pendant with chain weighs 82 grams. The carved volcanic arrow beautifully reflects deep, rich colors as it moves & catches the light. A later Georgian period 15k yellow gold remembrance or mourning ring with genuine pearls circa 1820 - 1830. This beautiful antique size 6 ring is typically unmarked and it tests as 15k, and it most likely of United Kingdom origin. It has a bevelled glass window for hair (no hair present) and the shoulders are thickly sculpted with a multi-floral pattern sometimes seen on jewellery or decor of this period...
A fascinating pair of double-sided Continental silver cufflinks, each face featuring the image of Medusa. The faces are intended to suggest ancient coins, but the stylized lines are very much in the Cubist style. Though her appearance was capable of turning a man to stone, Medusa's image was often used to ward off evil spirits. The backs are stamped with French import marks.

This Mexican sterling bracelet has a warrior-like feel, with its shield-like openwork panels. The domed centers are set with small black glass cabochons that could be obsidian. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure, and the connectors between the panels exhibit are well soldered. The bracelet bears the unidentified mark of VGV (per Bille Hougart’s book), as well as a sterling mark surrounded by a circular Hecho en Mexico. It measures 7 inches long by a little over 1 inch wide...
This ring is adjustable in size. The carved picture piece is bezel-set and measures 5/8" x 3/8". It is a lovely depiction of a Hummingbird. The carving is in black, sprinkled with red on the head. It is signed by the artist. The setting is decorative and marked STERL. The shank is marked STER. SHANK. It is in excellent condition.

An exceptional pair of classic high fashion 18Kt yellow gold Ionic column earrings from the 1960-s. The earrings measure 29 millimeter high and 23 millimeter wide, and have a combination of posts and omega backs. The marks on the finely made pierced-design backs are stamped 750 for 18Kt, and have a hallmark of the jewelry maker.

An important 18K yellow gold and natural semi-baroque pearl necklace in the "Lierre" ("Ivy") design by Edouard Aimé Arnould. The necklace features five foliate plaques set with pearls flanked on either side with a long- and short-link chain. The sculptural quality of the leaves is enhanced with areas of bright polish contrasting with areas in a slightly matte finish, a technique repeated on the back sides, as well.
