A 12 X 7 millimeter oval cabochon opal with vibrant colors centers this great 14Kt yellow gold 1960-s cluster ring. The center opal is surrounded by 17 prong set round faceted natural rubies. The approximate weight of the opal is 1.25Ct, while the approximate total weight of all rubies is 0.85Ct. The overall measurement of the oval cluster is 18 X 12 millimeters. Being offered is a rare and fine circa 1963 sterling silver brooch by Sigfrido ‘SIGI’ Pineda of Taxco, Mexico. Modern boomerang design with an oxidized background; and non faceted amethyst stone. Sigi, cousin of Los Castillo founder, Antonio Castillo, spent years working with Los Castillo, Salvador Teran, Felipe Martinez, and Margot de Taxco before opening his own shop in 1952. It's been a while since I presented a piece by Gerardo Lopez but he is one of my favorite Taxco maestros, a talented silversmith and designer who excelled in the art of repoussage. I believe Lopez was at his best when he created pectoral necklaces and clamper bracelets and it is an exquisite example of the latter form that I am showing here...

These fine cuff links have a diameter of 3/4". They display an abstract character: a J or a P? The backs are marked LEONORE DOSKOW HANDMADE STERLING. The toggle findings are also marked STERLING. The cuff links are in excellent condition, circa 1950s-1960s.

Los Ballesteros beads are not often seen and these are exceptional. The half inch wide beads are quite heavy at 50 grams and 8in. long. The fit is more like a 7 inch bracelet. Each bead is 1 in. long. Properly hallmarked as shown and with eagle. If you collect beads, you will love these.

A nice pair of modernist 14K yellow gold and pearl earrings. 5.2-millimeter pearl studs suspend faceted gold bars that, in turn, suspend open-work gold spheres studded with pearls. Each sphere comprises a dozen 4.9 millimeter cultured pearls of very good quality. The body color is cream with rose overtones. The luster is bright and the surfaces are smooth. Each of the spheres is completed with the addition of prong-set seed pearls. The spheres dangle freely and exhibit lots of movement. ...

Classic Antonio Pineda bracelet that is board room sleek with a look that goes anywhere. The bracelet has a 2.5in. diameter and 5/8th in. high stature. There is a light amount of patina which will be left for the buyer to do with as they prefer. The hallmark is signed correctly as shown. It is hard to find one in this condition without dents or damage. I believe the stones to be a low sheen obsidian. Everything goes with the color black. Collector quality

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Erling Christoffersen for Norway Designs Plus. Looks like a stylized butterfly. Measures 1 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high. Has an earlier 'C' clasp. Marked with ND, 925S, Sterling and the Plus sign. Has a dark patina but could be polished up if you choose. Some minor surface scratches. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.
