A wonderfully heavy vintage silver bracelet by Hermès. The bracelet has a triangular profile that stands well out from the surface of the wrist and a masterfully constructed so that it is flexible, but appears rigid when being worn. The inside edges of each link are parcel gilt, so the bracelet sometimes shows the slightest gold hue. This is probably the heaviest Hermès bracelet we have seen. The bracelet is presented in its original vintage fitted Hermès gray box...

A classic pair of diamond and pearl earrings from the 1960’s is set in 14Kt yellow gold with a European lever backs. These earrings can be worn dressy for occasions or sporty with jeans or basically all the time. The well matched high luster cultured pearls measure 8.5 millimeters and the approximate total weight of the two full cut diamonds is 0.10Ct.

A vintage modernist sterling silver brooch designed by Erling Christoffersen for Norway Designs Plus. Looks like a stylized butterfly. Measures 1 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high. Has an earlier 'C' clasp. Marked with ND, 925S, Sterling and the Plus sign. Has a dark patina but could be polished up if you choose. Some minor surface scratches. Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

This is a beautiful necklace (difficult to capture its beauty in the photos). The shiny gold tone chain drops into a heart pendant with several pave set, clear rhinestones. Being offered is a circa 1964 .970 silver (better than sterling which is 925 parts silver per 1000 parts) bracelet by Antonio Pineda of Taxco, Mexico, attractive modernist piece comprising rectangular domed silver links with alternating bezel set tiger's eye cabochons; tongue and box clasp with security chain. Dimensions wearable 6 1/2"; 3/4" at its widest. Marked. In excellent condition. Nice heavy weight, Pineda the silver master! Do you have a copy of the UCLA Fowler Museum Pineda catalog?

A Georg Jensen sterling silver double tulip pin and earrings set in a red Georg Jensen New York box. The brooch measures 1-3/4 x 1-3/8" and has a safety catch and it matches the 7/8" x 5/8" clip-on earrings...

A mid-century, solid oblong bangle with niello marked Janiye Sterling. In vintage condition with light scratches. Inner diameter measures 2-5/8" x 2-1/8"~ width 3/8"~ 47.8 gr.

This wonderful brooch exhibits a foliate, flowering branch motif. Its 3 circular, petals are slightly convex with striations to central buds. The curved stems are adorned with the same buds / balls (just a bit larger). This piece measures 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/4". The back is marked STERLING with the Carl - Art (CA with an arrow through it) maker's mark: Carl-Art, Inc. Providence, Rhode Island). This pin is circa 1950's or 60's. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

An exceptional gilt filigree scarab bracelet marked on the box clasp LORAN SIM. The company was in production during the 50's-60's in Providence, RI. One link is attached to the filigree by a small thread.(It's very hard to discern, though one may want to have a jeweler resolder it.See photo with blue scarab.)Please refer to the carnelian scarab for internal cracks. The real stone scarabs measure 3/4" x 5/8"; the bracelet 7.5" x 1".

A vintage floral foliate spray pin brooch simply stamped BAER STERLING for modernist Marjorie Baer, perhaps an earlier hand made prototype piece prior to going 'designer' production? Leaves are chased.
3 1/4 X 2 1/4" with years and years of darkening in crevices. Very very nice Unpolished condition with good safety catch...

It's been a while since I presented a piece by Gerardo Lopez but he is one of my favorite Taxco maestros, a talented silversmith and designer who excelled in the art of repoussage. I believe Lopez was at his best when he created pectoral necklaces and clamper bracelets and it is an exquisite example of the latter form that I am showing here...

This Victorian style 1960-s 14Kt yellow gold ring is centered by a 0.45Ct oval faceted natural ruby. The center ruby is flanked on either side by a 3 millimeter cultured pearl. Both sides of the shank are richly decorated by a carved design. The ring is a size 6 ¾ and can easily be sized.

A rare necklace and matching earrings made of alternating Sterling Silver and Rosewood tubes by William Spratling from Taxco. The marks on this set date them to his Third Design Period: 1951 - 1967.

Necklace measures 17 1/4" long. Marked on the back of the box clasp with the script WS and Eagle #30. Earrings measure 1" long. Marked on the back of one earring with the Script WS and with the Eagle #30 on the back of the other.

The clasp on the necklace snaps securely...

This lovely necklace measures just under 17" long. It consists of 10 links of beautiful leaves. It is in the Danish design. DANECRAFT STERLING and is in excellent condition.

A vintage twin pearl ring from the 1960s with one cultured and one black Alaskan diamond hematite pearl in a 10k yellow gold setting. This size 7-1/2 ring features a 5 mm. cultured pearl with silver cream lustre set next to a similar sized black "pearl". This fine ring is stamped MIL 10K, it weighs 3.2 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A simply elegant 18 Kt yellow gold open work flower broach, decorated by an 18Kt white gold center that is set with 11 diamonds. The exceptionally fine Italian design and workmanship rings through in this tailored piece of jewelry from the 1960-s. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.25 Ct. The diameter of three dimensional broach is 2".

This fine pin measures 2” long. It displays 3 prong-set, scarab gems, budding from a leaf and stems. It is gold filled and marked BURT 1/20 12KT CASSELL. It is in excellent condition. Burt Cassell, a designer based in Rhode Island and New York City, made high quality jewelry during the 1950s through the mid 1960s. His gold filled designs, enhanced with semi-precious stones were mainly sold through jewelry stores and not department stores...
