Decorated with applied wirework rosettes, this hoop necklace has an Asian feel, but sports Austrian import marks (hard to see in the photo). It is continuous, and doesn’t appear to have ever had a clasp. The necklace has a nice weight and a dramatic, contemporary look. The Austrian mark for silver content is illegible, but the necklace is probably .800 or .835 fineness; the mark indicates a registration in Vienna. Doubled, it measures about 14 ½ inches long. Circa 1944-1948, this Hubert Harmon pin is hand-wrought with exquisite repoussé silver work. It's a highly detailed piece, featuring a bird and fish in Harmon's signature whimsical style. This large Fred Davis amethyst brooch was produced 1930's - early 40's. Measuring 4 1/2" long, 2 3/16" wide, it features a gorgeous hand-carved amethyst tulip. Pin closes with a roller. Signed and hallmarked with a conjoined FD and Silver Mexico. Weight is 32 grams. In excellent vintage condition. An extremely rare pair of 18K yellow gold and citrine cufflinks by the mid-century Brazilian jewelry designers Roberto and Haroldo Burle Marx. The Burle Marx brothers were particularly know for their use of colored gemstones fashioned in the "forma livre" (free-form) style. Haroldo invented the technique of carving and tumbling forma livre stones in 1948, and the style of the swivel mechanism suggests that the cufflinks are relatively early—probably around 1955...

Beautiful 14K yellow gold and cultured pearl brooch by Mikimoto. The swirling gold frame is punctuated with very high quality pearls post-set pearls and can be worn either horizontally or vertically. The pearls have superb lustre and Mikimoto's classic ivory color with rose overtones. The sizes range from 5 to 7mm. The back is stamped with Mikimoto's hallmark.

A lovely vintage 14K yellow gold heart pendant pave-set with 62 round brilliant rubies by Tiffany & Co. The heart is slightly domed and shimmers in vibrant red. The workmanship is simply outstanding. This hollow silver anklet is from the Nuristani area of Afghanistan. With the loose metal rattle rolling inside the hollow space, a soft noise was created as the wearer moves. This anklet has nice patina and has a few minor dents, which attest to the age and travels of the artifact.

Antique circa 1900 gateleg bracelet in 9KT gold with Persian turquoise stones and luminous moonstones. Marked 9CT using the English designation. It weighs 10 grams. The spring ring and opposite jump ring of the clasp are new replacements in 14KT gold, invisibly soldered by a professional jeweler. 3/8 inch wide and 7 1/2 inches wearable length. An abstract design, the pendant is set with what appears to be blue indicolite, which is a type of tourmaline, or blue jade. It is marked sterling on the reverse. The chain is composed of linked sterling edged rods, and is marked Italy and sterling on the flattened jump ring. One rod is slightly bent. The entire clasped necklace measures 18 inches long; the pendant is 3 inches long by 2 3/8 inches wide.

Ca 1920 A European yellow gold filigree bracelet. The ten point bezel set diamond is accented by two square cut synthetic sapphires. Under magnification, the diamond appears a tiny bit offset in its illusion setting (white gold or platinum-not tested), but this is not evident to the naked eye. Marked 585 for 14kt. 7-1/2" x 1/8"~ 11.4 grams.

Luscious heavy coral glass beaded hand knotted 62 inch long necklace, circa 1970. From the estate of a New York socialite; I had several necklaces like this and this is the last one. This charming 14 k gold pin is an homage to a moment in American history. The Daughters of Liberty was formed ~1766, shortly after the Sons of Liberty. This group of brave women boycotted British products and made use of traditional women's skills such as weaving and spinning, to support the cause of liberty. The pin bears an enameled flag, initials, the number five, and the date 1860. It is 1 X 1/1/2" in size.

Beautifully worked and quite generous in size this late Victorian / Edwardian locket pendant is, I am assuming, a US-made piece since it is not hallmarked at all.
