Japanese limited edition copperplate etching titled “Kyoto #7: Kozan-ji” by Tanaka Ryohei (1933-2019). Pencil-signed, dated '96, and numbered 141/150 in the lower margin. The title in kanji is at the bottom left margin. Paper: 11 5/8" x 10 1/4" (image: 6 3/8" x 8"). Very good overall condition with a possible faintly visible smudge in the upper left margin corner. There are a few distressed fibers on the back, but the print does not appear to have been previously framed.

Hand Colored Etching “Dickens Christmas Carol” 5x8” framed size 12x16” done circa 1940

**One of several works by the artist in my shop, including a watercolor---note similarities to another pencil drawing of the same year by the artist** Pencil on paper drawing of distant structures and foreground vegetation, dated 1967 and signed lower center, 5 1/4" by 7 1/4", 13 3/4" by 15 1/4" as framed, by the well listed Louisiana artist ROLLAND HARVE GOLDEN (1931-2019)...

Here is a prize for the collector of Californiana----an idealized view of a mission in the golden days of yore, painted around 1935 I would guess. There is a signature at lower right that appears as Y. Arnold or similar. The painting is on a coarse weave canvas, almost like burlap or jute, laid down on an old board, on the back of which is a color print of a landscape. Size is 30" by 24" including the simple narrow wood strip frame...

American regionalist painter Robert Walker (1920 - 1990) painted this study of 3 pears as a watercolor on heavy paper. The seeming simplicity of this work belies a great power of observation and sensitivity of even the most mundane.

This work was done in 1949, during the early years of Walker's career who was born in Alameda, California. His works often soar on the simplicity which made 20th century American justly famous...

A nicely painted miniature portrait, on natural wafer, of a fashionably attired gentleman. The sitter is wearing a white shirt and stock, a black coat with velvet lapels, and a gray vest with black polka dots. Presented in a period, and possibly original, ebonized frame.

No cracks, chips, restoration or other condition issues. Sight size is 2 1/2" by 1 3/4", and the frame size is 4 3/8" by 3 3/8".

A carved Tiki Stonework figure in the shape of those seen on Easter Island measuring 3” height by 5” deep (Quillen)

This splendid oil on board renders a charming cape cod house overlooking the ocean. There is a road passing to its front. It is all too serene and peaceful. Given the calmness of the waves, speculate that the ocean is the Pacific. It is signed E Harkins in the lower left. Its simplicity and unpretentiousness reminds me of Edward Hopper's or Andrew Wyeth's work...

Extra large format limited edition Japanese woodblock print depicting a flower lined deserted lane beside traditional buildings under a cloudy blue sky by Katsuyuki Nishijima (b. 1945) dated 1987. This is an original pencil-signed artist's proof (marked A.P. in the lower left margin) for an image that was likely produced in a limited edition of 100. The pencil-title appears to translate "Empty Sky" or "Deserted Day." Paper size 24 1/4" x 18 1/4" (image: 15 3/8" x 21 1/4"). Full margins...

A fine 8-1/4" tall Canadian Puvirnituq Nunavik (Northern Quebec) native stone sculpture by "Eli" E-91328. Made by Eli Akiru Quissa (1914-84), this carving is dated 1966 and it depicts a hunter with a seal. This item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor surface abrasions and scratches...

Claude Weisbach, French, 1927-, "The Amateur's Visit". A fine modernist color lithograph, image size 20 5/8 x 29 1/4 inches, 1973, pencil signed and titled, with a blindstamp in French designating this impression an artist proof apart from the published edition.
