A naïve but appealing watercolor and gouache painting on organic wafer of a young gentleman. The background is done with great effect in blues, brown, and pink.

The 2 1/4" by 1 3/4" painting is in fine condition, with no flaws to speak of. The case is structurally sound, with a glazed aperture on the rear, but could use a good overall cleaning.

An original vintage Chinese ink painting of a Running Horse in the manner of Xu Beihong signed to the center right. Ink on a mottled colored paper presented matted and in a thin wood frame. Overall framed size 16.5" W x 23.5" H x 1.0" D. In good condition minor surface wear and very light crease to the paper. The most influential Chinese artist and art educator in twentieth-century China, Xu Beihong is widely known as the father of modern Chinese painting...

after Picasso study for Demoiselles d Avignon 1907 from "Picasso 15 Drawings" lithograph plate signed good condition corner fold as seen will frame very well. limited edition of 500, printed in 1946 they reproduced a group of paintings in a large format folio printed in lithographic plates with a dimension of 19-3/4" x 14" inches. The edition was 500 unsigned and unnumbered.

A great pair of reverse painted coaching artwork. Displayed beautifully in burl and eglomise frames. First painting shows coach with huntsman heading from London to Oxford. The second painting shows the ride home from Oxford to London. In excellent condition. Minor scratches to the frames. Colors vivid for a reverse painting of this age. These are probably from the 30's. Frame measures 18" by 13"...

A finely painted oil on canvas painting illegibly signed and dated 1993, the subject classic goose and duck decoys at left, a shotgun at top, the other props including a green book, pen, feathers, and two red shotgun shells, measuring 18" by 24" (25 1/2" by 31 1/2" framed in interesting black with gold frame, as found). The signature is difficult to decipher. The painting is in excellent condition with exception of two or three "X" or cross-shaped cracks in the paint (see photos)...

A highly decorative late 20th century painting after the Dutch 17th through 19th century classic winter landscapes, 33" by 36 1/2" as framed, signed at lower right by artist W. Reynolds. There is some slight crazing at left in the sky, just enough to increase the impression of this being an old painting, and the frame has some light wear that can be touched up...

Executed on heavy watercolor paper, this is a beautiful work by a trained hand, 18" by 26 1/2", unframed, and unsigned. At lower left is written "Valley Ten P/1912", and to the right of and below that "After a fire". On the reverse in pencil is "Valley of Ten Peaks" and "MORAINE LAKE". The painting has foxing in the sky and the reverse is also foxed, but the colors are not faded...

He exhibited at the Copley Gallery in Boston, the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, and the Currier Museum in Manchester, New Hampshire...
