This is a very well-painted miniature depicting a courtly scene of a nobleman and his companion on a pleasure boat, with three female attendants. Although Mughal in style, I am not 100% convinced that the painting is indeed of the period. For that reason, I am listing it as decorative only and have priced it accordingly. Inscriptions frame the painting, which appears to be taken from a manuscript. The painted area is roughly 4" X 8" and is in excellent condition...

Oversized limited-edition Japanese woodblock print by Joshua Rome (b. 1953) titled “Fuyu no Hi (Winter's Day)” dated 2/15/1981. The bottom margin is titled, dated, numbered 30/100 and signed in pencil. The artist's red seal is beside the signature. Paper: 9" x 24 5/8" (image: 6 11/16” x 21 5/8"). Very good overall condition. The print is very lightly sunstruck and there are tiny brown spots about the size of the tip of a pin scattered throughout the paper.

The bottom margin corners are a little wrinkled and the paper at the back upper edge is slightly distressed from tape removal.

Oil on Masonite extensive landscape of orange groves and palms and distant snowy mountains, the scene likely the Sea of Galilee area with the Golan Heights in northeast Israel, the painting measuring 20 1/2" by 25 1/2" (27" by 32" as framed), signed at lower left in Hebrew and at lower right twice, faintly, in Roman letters "Peysac". This painting is a typical work of the noted German-Israeli artist ARYE LEO PEYSACK (1894-1972). Peysack was born in 1894 and trained in Germany...

A PAIR of detailed ink drawings, one titled "The Cottage", featuring a tidy home in the English countryside, the other a dated 1911 detailed look at a Gothic church's walls and entrance portal. Affixed to the crumbling old backing is a label for "The Cottage", showing it apparently won the "John J. Burnet Prize" for Alex Nicolson, who was evidently a student in "Club No. 129". So Nicolson was evidently a talented young artist...
