Luigi Kasimir 1881-1962 Austrian This is a fine original color etching by Austrian artist Luigi Kasimir. The subject is the Fulton Market, in New York City, circa 1930. Small oil on canvas laid on board, 9" by 7" framed, unsigned, the view being an extensive hazy landscape with high snowy peaks in the distance, a spindly tree in the middle ground. I have searched without success for a signature. Likely dates before 1940 and more than likely by a listed artist. Light areas in immediate foreground are probably old losses, which have been in turn varnished over.

A vintage circa 1930's oil on canvas still life of various kinds of flowers in a blue vase on a table top, signed at extreme lower right "N B Wise" or "M B Wise". There is a fragment of a gallery label on reverse and last letters indicated ".......ati", so I believe this might have Cincinnati, Ohio in its past. I do not see a listing for an artist by this name. The work measures 26" by 22" (29 1/2" by 25" in old appealing gold frame)...

Original oil painting on illustration board by famed American illustrator, muralist, and painter Dean Cornwell (1892-1960). This painting measures roughly 10" by 11" (18" by 19" in its frame). It is signed "DC" lower right. It still bears verso the original gallery label from Galleries Maurice Sternberg in Chicago, as well as a brass plaque on the frame. Circa 1940. Possibly a study for a mural. It depicts the construction of a church in the Americas. In excellent condition.

I do not see a listing for this name. The age of the painting judging by style, frame and stretcher would be circa 1940.
