This is a fine example of the important etching by Jean Baptiste Corot. This etching is titled: Enviorns De Rome, it was created in 1866, this proof is the second state A. of three. Printed on Holland Paper, This printing had the addresses of:" Cadart and Luquet Editeurs, 79 Rue St Jacques 303 Paris" A rich impression, Catalog Delteil 6 II/III. Framed, previously sold by Kennedy Galleries in New York. The image size measures 11 1/4X8 1/2 inches.

Otto Bacher 1856-1909 American This is a fine and rare etching by American artist Otto H. Bacher. The title of this pencil signed impression is: Venice, Shipping and the Ducal Palace, This etching was created and printed in 1880. Bacher along with a group of pupils of Frank Duveneck followed him to Florance and Venice to be with him for the summer. It was there that Bacher met and worked with Whistler. Large round ceramic wall sculpture by artist, Peter Voulkos (1924-2002). Wheel thrown with tears, incisions and imbedded chunks of material. The back has drips of blue glaze and is signed by Voulkos. A truly beautiful circa 1890 print of elegant Parisians strolling past and perusing the famous Bouquiniste bookstalls along the banks of the Seine River, not signed in plate nor in pencil but certainly by a listed or even important and well-known artist. To date, reverse image searches and other internet research have, frustratingly, not revealed the identity of that artist. There are no watermarks...

From a set of lithographs, Paris Dans sa Splenour, published in 1861, titled, “LE NOUVEAU LOUVRE/Vue prise du Palais Tuileries.” The printer and lithographer are shown in details of the lower left and right corners. The image without printing is 9 7/8 by 14 ½ inches (25 x 27 cm), the page 13 ¼ by 19 ¼ inches (34 x 49 cm).

Condition; some rubbing to the surface and some of what look to be ink spots...
