Acquired as one of a number of works by late Bozeman, Montana artist MARION "MAL" LEWIS (1925-2010), this is a fine collage work of an orange-yellow painted cardboard sphere with overlaid and background cut blue printed paper, undated, not framed (just matted), likely from late in the artist's life. While traveling through Montana I came upon a group of mostly collage, abstract works by this artist, though there is at least one non-abstract work, a New Mexico drawing, that I will be listing...
Late in life, circa 1999, Japanese master print maker, Haku Maki, did this shikishiban print. It is called Z1-12 (WAZA); 7.25'' x 8.25''; Shikishiban is a nearly square format. Shikishiban are often mounted on a thick, light cardboard. Japanese people like to give them as presents. The print is in the US and will be shipped from there.
Fine 18th c Engraving the text is faint so we haven't been able to get information on it.

Antoniucci Volti, French, 1915-1989. This outstanding bronze is a nude woman sitting on the ground and bent over. It is bronze dark brown/black patina with touches of green. Inscribed "Volti" and Epreuve d' Artiste 2/2" and "Susse Fond Paris." Width 9" Hight 5 1/2." It is in perfect condition and has excellent provenance from Galerie Cardan, Paris, 1976. He has an extensive listing in Benezit. He worked in France and his work is in the Musee D'Art Moderne in Paris...

This is an original aquatint etching by French artist Manuel Robbe. The title is; Fleur d'Automne, created and printed in 1903 in an edition of 65, this one is numbered as 55/65 lower left border and hand signed in pencil lower right border. The image measures 19 1/2X14 7/8 inches. Printed on a medium weight laid type paper. This image appears in the Merrill Chase catalog as image number 46. Fine rich impression.

Oversized limited-edition Japanese woodblock print by Joshua Rome (b. 1953) titled “Fuyu no Hi (Winter's Day)” dated 2/15/1981. The bottom margin is titled, dated, numbered 30/100 and signed in pencil. The artist's red seal is beside the signature. Paper: 9" x 24 5/8" (image: 6 11/16” x 21 5/8"). Very good overall condition. The print is very lightly sunstruck and there are tiny brown spots about the size of the tip of a pin scattered throughout the paper.

A charming and well-limned portrait on organic wafer, of a young boy in a red dress, holding a ring. The glazed aperture on the back of the foliate cast case contains a photograph of what might be the sitter.
One side of old tag attached to the mini states "From E. Helena Sherman Estate 1997," while the other side of the tag says "Male child of Chapin family Boston 1840." However, the child in the painting is at least 4 years younger than the one in the photograph...
