Jonnevelt" (or Sonnevelt), suggestive of a Scandinavian, Dutch or Belgian artist. This is a print from the original woodblocks, of the work "Jongleur", 1938, from the series "Le Cirque de l'Etoile Filante (Circus of the Shooting Star) by the important French artist GEORGES ROUAULT (1871-1958). The print is quite small, 2 7/8" by 2 1/8" inside the mat (9 1/2" by 8 1/4" as framed). I believe that this is from the edition published at a later date by the Collectors' Guild of New York, as other examples I have seen are identically framed, and with their label on the reverse...

This is a fine pencil drawing of a Victorian style wood home, 16" by 11 1/2" (24 3/4" by 18 3/4" framed), signed at lower right "David" and dated there '73. One is reminded of Edward Hopper's haunted, lonely dune houses or even the infamous back-lot Bates Motel house from the movie "Psycho" where Anthony Perkins did his thing. Condition is excellent. Found in San Francisco, the city where many treasured gingerbread houses of Victorian times still stand.

An unstretched oil on canvas of a rocky forested coast, presumably in Finland, signed at lower right and dated there 1936 by listed Finnish artist TOIVE JYRINKI (1895-1988). The canvas measures 13 1/4" by 18 3/4". There does not appear to be a lot of information on the talented artist. The scene is reminiscent of much 19th century American art such as paintings of the rocky coast of Maine. Condition is vintage good, needs to be mounted and framed.

This is a hand colored lithograph of the species Petroica Goodenovii (the Red-capped Robin, of central and southern Australia), drawn by the famous 19th century English naturalist, ornithologist and natural history illustrator JOHN GOULD, the lithographic plate produced by his assistant Henry Constantine Richter (1821-1902)...

Fine old marine art drawing, in compromised condition, as found in Rhode Island, unframed, 13" by 19 1/2", signed at lower left corner "F R Smith". This is almost certainly by late 19th century American artist F. ROLLIN SMITH, who painted watercolors and oils of marine scenes. Little seems to be known of the artist but works do appear at auction. This drawing is a survivor, found in a portfolio of drawings in Providence, Rhode Island...

There are some old watercolor stains at lower right which seem to blend into the imagery. There is some abrasion showing as whitish area trailing vertically down from mid-arm at right.
