This painting measures 12"x 24". Helen LaFrance is a self-taught, modern, contemporary artist who is 99 years of age. Her earliest known painting is a 12’x20’ mural inside of a local church that was made circa the late 40's and early 50’s and she continued to paint into the early 2000's. Exceptional 19th Century antique bronze box with Miniature portrait mounted on the cover, Light blue velvet interior. This is an absolutely wonderful miniature portrait painting of Emperor Napoleon, signed Paulin on lower right. Classical gilt bronze box with wreaths on each side of the portrait. Measurements. 3 3/4"L x 1 1/4"H x 3"D, in great condition.

Watercolor painting of autumnal tree in a landscape, 21" by 14", unframed, signed at lower left Virginia Dicken and on reverse is written "Autumn Gold". I do not see information on an artist by that name but she was obviously familiar with watercolor technique, including wet-on-wet technique visible at upper right. Presently the work is taped at edges to a mat (can and should be removed). Condition is excellent; just frame it.

Original oil on canvas by Dorothy Eaton (American/ 1893-1968), signed l.l. "Dorothy Eaton" and dated 1957 on the back. This painting measures 25" by 30". It is in excellent untouched original condition, and is offered in a newer gallery frame. Dorothy Eaton is very well listed, with auction records over ten thousand dollars. She studied at the ASL with Kenneth Hayes Miller. Some of her works are exhibited in the Smith College Museum of Art in Northampton, MA.
