A mid century Japanese Biraki Kimono Tansu (chest with hinged doors) made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) Wood. Two large hinged doors open to a set of three Kimono trays. Side handles used for carrying the tansu from place to place. Front door plates feature Paulownia flowers and leaves.

A fine vintage cutwork Roden sterling silver napkin ring. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 5/8" wide napkin ring measures 1-11/16" across the interior and it has a Janie monogram. It is stamped STERLING with the Roden company mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. Smart-looking "No. 250 Coldseal" aluminum cocktail shaker by Kraftware, ca. 1946. The shape is very interesting, tapering from a narrow footed base to broader shoulders and a bell-shaped top. The three dimensional shape resembles a flared skirt when viewed in front and a boat keel when viewed from the side. This Tiffin red encrusted compote was produce in the 1930's with the Oneida etching. Red encrustation is very hard to find. This one is in mint condition, stands about 6.25" tall.
Japanese Musha Ningyo of Jimmu, the First Emperor of Japan, made by Beishu. Beishu has Mukei Bunkazai status (Important Intangible Cultural Property). His Shoki shows great craftsmanship, with silk hair, glass eyes, gofun face and hands, with sumptuous silk brocade. This magnificent sculpture reaches the level of the master work of Beishu, whose work is found in museums and important collections of the Showa Period in Japan.
