An antique Japanese three-case Inro. The Inro is reddish brown cherry bark lacquered with a dragonfly hovering over a lotus leave and pond. The other side is a continuation of the lotus leaf motif with small gold leaf flowers. The interior has a continuation of the cherry bark surface. The Inro is signed by 'Zeshin" (Shibata Zeshin 1807-1891) with a cursive monogram. Fitted with an orange oval ojime bead.

Date: Meiji Period (1868-1912)

A very large museum quality blue cobalt Jar. It is very, very rare to find this type of vase in cobalt blue, especially in this size and condition. The center of the vase has a relief of a dragon chasing the elusive flaming pearl. Size: H. 92.8cm. W. 46cm. Condition: Very good with no repairs or missing parts. One side has some calcification from being buried for a long time. It show up more in the photo than it actually is.

An antique Japanese 3 case inro with wisteria in makie lacquer. Designed with a reddish brown ground and lacquered with gold leaf. The wisteria blossoms drape from it's stem which wraps around the top of the case to end in a scroll pattern on the back side. Interior cases interiors are lacquered black.

A Rice grain bowl, decorated in blue and white of diaper pattern and precious emblems to the bottom. Interior center with Heron and Lotus within double circle and surrounded the inner rim with five bats, the rest with transparency of rice grains decoration. Kangxi mark on the base, but late Qing 19th to early 20th century R.O.C period. Condition is very good, no any chip, no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 11,5 cm and Height: 5,8 cm.

A Nepalese wood sculpture of Bhairava and his consort Bhairavi on a custom stand. Bhairava (Sanskrit: frightful) is a Hindu Tantric deity worshiped by Hindus. In Shaivism, he is a fierce manifestation of Shiva associated with annihilation.

18th century or earlier Soten school Japanese sword iron sukashi tsuba with pierced decoration of four samurai with swords and bows among pine trees by a waterfall. Wonderful early work, great design, powerful piece. Signed, the left side of the inscription reads SOTEN, the right one must be the name of a particular artist. Height 2 3/4 inches.
