Presented is this beautiful, iridescent Loetz glass lamp. The glass is in Loetz's 'Ausfuhrung 226' decor (please refer to page 263 of Ricke's book, Loetz Bohemian Glass 1880-1940' for this decor). The lamp is 17 1/2 inches (44,5 cm) tall to the bulb-holder and has an 8-inch (20 cm) square base. The glass part is 10 inches (25 cm) tall and 5 3/4 inches (14,5 cm) wide at the top. An exceptional and rare cameo glass bride basket on quadruple silver plate stand. The rose colored cameo is striking and as fresh today as it was c. 1880 when it was first created. The glass was produced by Mt Washington while the silverplate was produced by Pairpoint and is so marked. The basket handle uses a branch and leaf motif with the latter being applied over the former. The basket well is reticulated, the base having swirls and leaves, all standing on 4 feet...

Offered is this very rare 'Diamond glass' (produced by blowing compressed air), English glass vase, made around 1850, most likely by Ricardson and may have been designed by Thomas Webb (when he was still at Richardson). The vase is 9 inches (23 cm) tall. Overall, the blown (has pontil), cased-glass vase is in good condition (as are typical of these vases with glass applications, there is a small flake on the applied flower and a short discontinuation on the applied limb - see pictures)...

Wonderful old Millville, NJ area glass paperweight wig stand or mantel ornament. The setup is pierced with five elongated icepick bubbles. Small bits of aventurine glass highlight the overall coloring of soft yellow and green. The top is heavily faceted with 33 printies of varying sizes. Lovely melon shaped Mt. Washington biscuit jar with handpainted pastel flowers. This jar is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, and measures 5 1/" to the top of the lid x 5 1/2" diameter.

Very rare pair of amethyst cut glass hatpin holders. Not to be mistaken for shakers, the bottoms are open and not designed for a plug. In excellent condition, they measure 6" high and 3.25" diameter.

A lovely cut glass perfume bottle cut from cranberry to clear. The design incorporates wide miters separated by combinations of fans, strawberry diamond and star motifs. The shoulders of the bottle are panel cut, and the base is finished with a 24-point star. The lapidary-cut stopper is original to the bottle and is engraved with the same number as the inside of the bottle's neck.

A beautiful and unusual cordial drinking glass, with a round funnel bowl, the lower half of which is fluted. The stem is of the double series opaque twist type, and is comprised of a 17-ply spiral band outside of a lace twist. What makes this a truly special glass is the domed helmet foot, and the overall proportions.

Offered is this pair of tall (11 3/4 inches or 29,5 cm in height) hand-painted portrait glass vases - the vases are unsigned, but were painted by Josef Ahne in all likelihood (refer to page 33 of Truitts' book on Bohemian glass for similar-shaped Ahne portrait vases). There is a small flake on the inner-rim of one vase (see picture).

A small cranberry tapered tumbler only 3 inches tall decorated with multicolored oak leaves and applied acorns. There is some wear to the gold rim.

A beautiful powder jar of colorless crystal cased in rose crystal, cameo cut and then etched. The delicate pattern of wild roses stands out in rose against the frosty etched background. The design is beautifully worked. The bottom has a large concaved polished pontil. Several examples of this coloring and technique, although in different floral patterns, appears in Curtis’ exhaustive book, “Baccarat”.

A bowl, originally a finger bowl, and three small ”ladies” wine glasses, the bowl c. 1840, the glasses Napoléon III c. 1860-80. All in the bleu céleste colour en vogue in France in the 19th century and all with the same “bubbly” texture. The glasses with polished pontil marks. Height of bowl "3¼/8,5 cm, diameter "4½/ 11 cm, height of glasses "3¼/ 8,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Milchglas or lattimo snuff box, late 18th century. The sides and base with enameled decoration of flowers while on the lid an elegantly dressed little gentleman is seen taking a walk in the park, behind him a pink phantasy rock, a rocaille - all in typically Rococo style. The mounting made of bronze or brass, the upper part with engraved zigzag lines. Made in Bohemia around 1780. Width "2 ¾ / 7.3 cm, height "1 1/8 / 2.7 cm. Condition: fine.

A very rare German mixed color twist of soda glass. Bell bowl with a solid base over a stem containing a white opaque twist multi-ply corkscrew surrounding a ruby thread, the whole with an entwined single air thread. 6 1/8 inches tall, 2 3/8 inch bowl diameter, 2 3/4 inch foot diameter.

Mixed twist glasses are as rare as color twist glasses, and the combination of both is an extremely uncommon and desirable construction.

A high quality milk glass goblet paneled with 9 facets and decorated with 3D grape and leaf design, most likely Westmoreland No. 1881. Stem is also faceted, standing on round foot. The "milk" alternates between translucence and opacity. This goblet is early 20th C. and in excellent condition.

Offered is this signed Quezal 'Pulled-feather' shade. The shade is 4 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches wide (at the flared end) and has the standard fitter diameter of 2 1/4 inches. It is in good condition (couple of circular marks where the shade rubbed against the holder - see last picture).

A beautiful 18th century glass sweetmeat with a dentated (cogwheel) rim (21 teeth) on a double ogee bowl above a multiple spiral opaque twist stem with a shoulder inverted baluster knop. The foot is radially rib molded with a rough, snapped pontil.

Condition is excellent with good tooling marks and color. The height is 3 3/8 " with a bowl diameter of 4 inches and a foot diameter of 2 1/2".

A classic Sandwich glass hyacinth vase in a rich amethyst shade. The vase is entirely hand blown, shows the traces of hand marvering, and has a large oblong bubble on one side about two inches above the bottom. The deeply concave base has a rough pontil and a basal ring showing the expected wear. Hyacinth vases, sometimes called tuplip vases or bulb vases, were used to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors. Lovely small cut crystal decanter with faceted stopper, early 20th century American Brilliant Period. The slightly rounded shape is comprised of finely cut squares with patterned centers, hand blown faceted stopper. Size: 8.25" H x 2.75" W. Condition: Decanter is clean and sparkling with age appropriate wear. No interior cloudiness, minor flaking and chips to face of two square. One of a pair. A nice addition to any collection as a pair or on its'own.

This crystal goblet was produced in Bohemia by an unknown company. We believe it was made sometime in the early 20th century. The goblet is 9 3/4 inches high and the diameter is 3 1/2 inches. The decoration is beautifully hand enameled, depicting brightly colored parrots on both sides of the glass. There are also flowers and gilded leaves. CONDITION: There is a bit of wear to the gilded stems of the flowers.
