Being offered is an exceedingly rare circa 1935 sterling silver arm bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. A very early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought panels that wrap from the wrist to the arm using a 7 clasps mechanism. Dimensions: bracelet starts at 6 1/4 inches and goes up the arm to 8 1/4 inches. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition. Excellent weight. Truly an amazing bracelet!

Circa 1943-1948, the "Armadillo" design was originally created by Valentin Vidaurreta. It's a very striking and unique piece which immediately commands attention. This bracelet has two opposing silver discs set in the center of a black strap with a silver buckle closure. Very similar to one of Antonio Pineda's designs, this modernist sterling silver and amethyst bracelet is signed by a listed yet still unidentified early Taxco maestro. Formed by a series of truncated pyramidal links this is a substantial piece that holds its shape almost like a hinged bangle rather than a loosely articulated bracelet. The design's austere geometry is mediated by the rich color and soft curves of the amethyst cabs set in generously wide, raised bezels...
Ca 1940 Here is another early bracelet and necklace with hematite stones created by Laurence Foss, a designer at Georg Jensen. The stones are in perfect condition and the silver has a lovely patina. Both the necklace and bracelet are marked with the Foss stamp Sterling. The bracelet is also marked 416A while the necklace, 416-1/2. The bracelet measures 7" x 3/4"and weighs 25.5 grams; the necklace is 15-1/2" including hook and weighs 33grams.

A rare and early first design period 980 silver bracelet by William Spratling with 6 hats alternating with rows of three balls.
Measures 7" long and 7/8" at the widest. Marked with the conjoined WS, 980 and Taxco on a cartouche on the back. Has a slide in pin closure.
The bracelet has a dark patina. There is a slight bit of stiffness to the hinges. The pin closure is tight. Has some minor nicks and scratches as seen with pieces of this age.
A true find for the collector.
