Unmarked unsigned tested sterling silver pendant necklace with old spring ring closure. Unsigned maybe Arts Crafts or Art Deco era, yet mostly hand made in the Modernism and Arts Crafts tradition. The hand wrought "cage like" pendant holds a 9mm undrilled jade jadeite or nephrite orb then ends with a chain tassel for a total of 1.5".
The 17" chain ends in a pesky old style spring ring clasp that is marked sterling. Needs a good polishing...
A retail shop in Taxco, Margarita was a place were one could buy jewelry by many local maestros, according to Bille Hougart. The long, beautifully made dangle earrings presented here bear only the shop’s name without a specific maker’s signature yet this does not affect their quality at all...
This silver pin evokes the late Arts and Crafts era with its hammered-look surface and serpentine vines, though it is definitely later. The applied coral-colored glass bead centers offer a nice splash of color. The hooded clasp completes the artisan look. The piece was probably made during the late 1950s-1960s to imitate the popular Scandinavian aesthetic of the time. It tests for silver, but not definitively for sterling, so could be European in origin. It is unmarked...
This is an exceptionally rare piece produced by Antonio Pineda, with his early "Silver by Tono" hallmark which dates 1948-1953. The design speaks to the influence of Valentin Viadurreta, for whom Antonio Pineda apprenticed in Mexico City.

Queen Anne period (1740) large beautifully faceted octagon cut amethyst solitaire ring in a later 18K gold band. This style of jewelry has been historically misnamed for Queen Anne, who reigned from 1695 to 1714, as so called Queen Anne jewelry dates to the mid 18th century.
Among other details, we love this ring for its eighteenth century octagonal shape, the quality of the amethyst and the crimped collet gold setting...

substantial at 37 grams. With thick links alternating between smooth links and heavily engraved links. Also with a swivel clasp piece on one end, and a gold ring on the other end. There probably was another
