Formed as fish skeletons, they are nicely made, with working screw backs that are marked sterling. The backs of the fish are also marked sterling, along with a partial mark that ends with the word ‘Silversmith.’ Please note that some of the pictures show the surface with a yellow cast; the truest color of the silver is in the last two photos. Being offered is a rare circa 1955 sterling silver and obsidian stone bracelet by Alfredo Villasana of Taxco, Mexico. The handcrafted thick gauge silver cuff set with a large round obsidian stone secured by four spiral prong settings, secured with box clasp. Villasana worked for William Spratlng and Hector Aguilar before opening his own shop in Taxco. Dimensions: Size 8”; stone is 1 3/4" by 2 1/4"; band is 3/4" wide. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.
A three-color faceted overlay glass locket in a rolled gold mounting. The glass is cut to show the layers of red, white and blue opaque glass. The back cover is ruby glass dark enough to appear opaque black unless held to the light.

These handsome cuff links are so very sleek while they keep it simple: a welcome characteristic of Pearson’s work. The heavy, solid, sterling silver is another Pearson signature. They measure 1” x 3/4” (x 1/8” at their widest). They are both signed “STERLING PEARSON” and are in excellent condition.
A colorful pair of doubled-sided French Art Deco enameled silver cufflinks. The rectangular faces have canted corners and are enhanced with champleve enamel in bright opaque red, green and black. The chain connectors are stamped with French silver marks and the backs of the faces have an unidentified maker's mark.
Large and glamorous, the color combination of rich purple and deep blue cabochons accentuated by tiny pearls makes for a stunning necklace. The unusual shape of the bib provides a prominent and dramatic display when worn. The bottom of the bib is 12" across, 3 1/2" high. The necklace is approximately 16" end to end. The oval name plate is stamped KJL.

A black & white rhinestone dangly tassel sautoir style necklace from the 1950s. This unsigned 16-5/8" beauty features claw-set white and black rhinestones and it has a central 1-1/2" three strand tassel drop. The central 5-1/4" section has a double row of white rhinestones with interspersed black rhinestones and this necklace has a snapover clasp. Japanese deep red or burgundy colored molded glass tile bracelet. Set in silver metal, the glass tiles feature a floral design. In excellent condition, the bracelet measures 6.75" long. Each tile measures about 1" x .75". Pictures don't do justice to this bracelet. If you think you like it, then you'll be very pleased you you receive it. You won't be disappointed.
This geometric openwork pin depicting snakelike creatures is distinguished by its design, which draws from ancient Mexican imagery. The pin is sturdily made and has a secure C-clasp. It is unsigned but stamped on the back Taxco 980, which indicates a higher-than-sterling silver content. It likely dates from the 1940s-50s. The metal exhibits a very strong test for sterling silver and exhibits a nice patina from age. The pin measures a little over 2 ¼ inches long by 1 5/8 inches wide...

Monumental sterling cuff bracelet with a beautiful design of twisted silver loops and arched terminals by Mexican designer Carmen Beckmann. She is one of the few well known women Mexican silversmiths of her time, active primarily in the 60's and 70's and having a shop in San Miguel de Allende. Measuring 6" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/8" opening, this bracelet is 2 1/2' wide at all points and weighs a very solid 218 grams. Signed as shown and in fine original condition...
