Louis Tamis & Sons opened in 1909 and quickly became the leading American maker of gold boxes and other luxury objects. In the 1930s, the company manufactured for Paul Flato. By mid-century, it had become on of New York’s most exclusive manufacturing jewelers, creating commissioned pieces for Tiffany & Co., Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels...

An elegant pair of 1960-s 14Kt yellow gold and pearl earrings are centered by high luster 3.5 millimeter cultured pearls. The six engraved petals on each earring form a 1” diameter flower, and the earrings have wire backs with hook closures.

These stylized lily of the valley earrings are from the 1960-s. The non pierced earrings are made of 14Kt two tone gold and diamonds with “French backs”. The leaf in the back is made of textured 14Kt yellow gold, the flowers are white gold and each set with two diamonds. The approximate total weight of all eight diamonds is 0.15Ct. The earrings are 1 3/8” high and 5/8” wide.

This important amethyst and 14Kt yellow gold oval cluster pendant is centered by a 16 X 12 millimeter oval faceted amethyst. The center stone is encircled by fourteen round faceted graduated amethysts. The smaller stones are on top and graduate on both sides to the largest stone on the bottom. The approximate total weight of all stones is 10 + carats. The pendant measures 1 3/8” high including the bail and ¾’ wide.

An elegant pair of vintage sterling silver and rosewood inlaid cufflinks by an unknown Taxco maker. The geometric positive and negative space design and is finely executed. The backs are marked “Mexico 925” and have the maker’s registry number “TS-15.”

A handsome pair of 14k yellow gold cufflinks, the faces set with Essex crystals depicting dogs (definitely terriers, and most likely fox terriers). The dogs are colorfully painted on the reverse-carved crystal and set against mother of pearl backgrounds. The cufflinks are finished with toggle backs. The toggles are stamped “14K” and have a patent number, indicating the patent was still active when the cufflinks were made.

A sterling silver modernist hand wrought cuff bracelet. Measures about 6" around with an additional 7/8" for the gap. Measures 2" at the widest. Marked Sterling and Hand Wrought. Very nice condition with some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Can be worn with the curve facing up or down. Warm patina, heavy layered sterling. Quality piece. Lays nicely on the wrist.

A masterfully handcrafted antique diamond and platinum engagement ring is centered by an approximately 1.20Ct old-mine diamond. The center stone that is not certified has K-L color and VS2 clarity. The intricately detailed openwork setting is further enhanced by fourteen smaller single-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 1.45Ct. The ring is a size 7 ¼ and can easily be sized.

Gerardo Lopez is well known for his skill with the repousse technique in his designs. His flow with swirls and beads are what sets this necklace apart from other Maestros. Todays jewel is 17in. long and the drop is 1 3/8th's by 2in. long. The repousse is thick and the chain is 3/8th inches tall. The presence is gorgeous with a little black dress or jeans. The weight is 49 grams. No damage of any kind just, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A well crafted, highly detailed sterling silver insect brooch with opals on the wings, a chrysoprase body and onyx eyes. Measures 1 7/8" long and 1 5/8" at the widest. Marked on the underside with a conjoined 'SJ' or 'JS' logo and 925 for sterling. Has an earlier 'C' clasp which holds securely. Included is the original box with the same hallmark. Box also has a maker's mark, 'Jorge St?'. We were unable to read the last name and could not determine the artist...

A well crafted sterling silver three dimensional pendant with a lapis cabochon. This pendant is suspended from a 28" long sterling chain meant to be slipped over the head. Pendant measures 2" long and 1 1/2" across. Bezel set stone measures 1/2" long and 3/8" across. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Interesting layered design.

An interesting pendant- a taxidermy eye set in 14K gold. Pendant measures 1" long and 5/8" at the widest. Marked 585 for the gold and what looks like 31. Currently suspended on a gold colored intricate chain that measures 20" long and has a secure spring closure. Looks very hand made. Fun mid century modernist design.

A great, early sterling silver cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large silver wire wrapped glass orb. Marked Sterling, Original Hand Wrought Design, and Rebajes on the back. Measures 4 3/4" around with an opening of 1 3/8". Could probably be adjusted slightly but meant to wear snuggly so the orb doesn't roll around. Measures 1 3/8" at the widest. Fine condition. There are some minor surface scratches to the finish. The glass looks like a large drop of water...

An elegant yesteryear’s platinum and diamond bow like pendant is set with nineteen round diamonds. Thirteen of the diamonds are set in the body of the pendant, while three diamonds are hung from the bottom. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.75Ct. The 1 ¾” long and 9/16” wide pendant is accompanied by an 18” long platinum chain.

A pair of 14Kt pink gold and diamond earrings is set with a pair of well matched brilliant cut diamonds. The two high quality diamonds with the approximate total weight of 0.50Ct have H color and VVS2 clarity. The angular design of the pink gold is softened by the six prong white gold butter cup settings that hold the diamonds. The backs clearly marked with a Russian hallmark from the Soviet era.

A 14 X 9.5 millimeter emerald cut blue topaz is set in a 14Kt yellow gold tailored and simply elegant four prong ring setting. The ring is a size 6 and it can easily be sized.

A mid century modern necklace with a large pendant in pewter by Eivind Hillestad, Norway. Marked EH, and 79. Pendant has long segmented leaves. Measures 3 3/4" long to the top of the bale and 2" across. Chain is 32" long and slips over the head. In nice condition with some minor scratches. Cool mod design!

A modernist sterling silver ring by noted mid century jeweler, Sam Kramer, in an abstract shape with a green, possibly Chryoprase, bezel set cabochon. Measures about a 7 1/2. Face of ring measures 1" long and 1/2" across. Marked with Sam Kramer's mushroom mark and sterling. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. There is some wear to the darkened area. Interesting contrast between the darkened silver and the polished raised dots. Great MCM design.

An Arts and Crafts hammered sterling silver ring with a blue bezel set cabochon by the Art Silver Shop of Chicago. Stone measures 3/4" long and 1/2" across. Measures about a size 3 1/2 so currently would probably be worn as a pinky ring. Marked on the back with Hand Made, conjoined TASS and Sterling. Mark is behind the part of the ring where the stone is so it could resized without disturbing it. You can see the light hammering. Beautifully made. Great example.

Anyone who appreciates antique jewelry would love this fabulous platinum and diamond ring from the 1920-s. The non certified center stone is an approximately 1.30Ct brilliant cut diamond that has H color and I1 clarity. The masterfully crafted delicate openwork platinum setting is decorated by 18 single cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 1.65 Ct. The ring is a size 8 and can easily be sized.

This light lavender colored carved jade pendant is enhanced on either side by a flower shaped finding. The tapered movable bail is connected to the flower shaped decorations. The pendant is 2 1/8” tall including the bail, and 7/8” wide at the widest part. A 14Kt yellow gold 16” heavy cable chain comes with the pendant.

This 14Kt tricolor asymmetric retro ring is topped by an approximately 0.35Ct bezel set old-mine diamond, and a field of eight angle cut natural rubies. The bezel surrounding the diamond is white gold, the section holding the four square and two triangle cut rubies is pink gold, while the rest of the ring is yellow gold. The ring is a size 10 and can easily be sized.

A finely designed and crafted 14Kt yellow gold riding crop and stirrup pin is the ultimate present for an equestrian enthusiast. The 2 ¼” long pin is from the 1960-s and measures ¾” at the widest.

An elegant, fashionable double strand of 8 – 7½ millimeter high quality high luster Japanese cultured pearls are enhanced by a 14Kt white gold diamond and cultured pearl clasp. One strand of 44 and another strand of 47 pearls attached to the round 14Kt white gold clasp which is decorated by 12 full-cut diamonds with the approximate total weight of 0.60Ct and six 5½ millimeter matching cultured pearls. The diameter of the masterfully crafted clasp is 20 millimeters...

This unusually large bloodstone enhanced by 14Kt gold is an early 20th century watch fob / pendant. The bloodstone that turns on a gold rod, measures 23 X 23 X12 millimeters and with the gold findings creates a bag like pendant.

A well preserved 14Kt yellow gold and diamond Victorian Etruscan bangle bracelet is decorated on top by nine old-mine diamonds. The nine diamonds with the approximate total weight of 1.0Ct are set in individual square shaped settings. The size is the size of an average bangle bracelet, which would fit a small to slightly larger than average wrist.

A well crafted, detailed sterling silver necklace by Albino Manca in an Arts and Crafts design. Measures about 15 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. Marked Hand Wrought, Sterling, A. Manca. A vintage sterling silver brooch with a high domed shaped light brown stone, (probably smoky topaz), cabochon by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulta of Finland. This modernist brooch measures 2 1/4" across and 1" high. Reminiscent of Native American designs. Marked with Kauppi's anvil mark, Sterling and Finland. Has an earlier style trombone clasp which holds securely. Fine condition. Wonderful example of Scandinavian modernist jewelry.
