This adorable puppy stick pin is unmarked, but the gold tests at about 12kt. The total length is 2-1/8”, the dog’s face is 1/2” x 7/16”, and it weighs 0.9g. He may be a Weimaraner. They were bred as hunting dogs in the early 1800s in Germany, and were named after the Grand Duke Weimar. In real life they are a silvery color, but this guy is made from a nice warm gold...

This fascinating ring consists of strands of rose gold tied in a knot, and studded with gold spheres. One sphere is missing, which makes it interestingly asymmetrical. The decorated area measures 5/8 x 1/2” and the shank measures 3/16”. The ring has a maker’s mark (“J.M”), the anchor for Birmingham, the date mark for 1903-4, “9”, and “375”, however it tests as 10k (That is not unusual). It’s approximately size 7 (it could be sized), and weighs 5.2g...

This striking white metal locket is engraved on the front in a stylized pattern. The back is plain. The inside has some scratches in the metal. The photo rings and celluloid are not present, but perhaps it was used for a lock of hair or other memento – that was a very popular tradition, back in the day. It measures 1-1/4” x 7/8" and the paperclip chain is a bit over 22". The back has a few dark marks which might clean up. Generally, a handsome Edwardian or Victorian piece...

This maple leave pin consists of plique a jour enamel in a sterling silver setting. This lovely pin is highlighted with paste accent stones along the main leaf veins. The green plique is a very nice rich color. The pin seems to be missing one leaf, however, someone filled in the space with a pretty drop made of green agate, so the loss is hardly noticeable. It is centered by a faux pearl. The enamel itself is in good shape, with only a few hairline cracks - normal in all but the very best pieces...

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a black orb by Sigi Pineda. The orb may be onyx.

Measures 2 7/8" long and almost 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 81, and Eagle #3. Also marked with what looks like design number 304.

Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

A rare example.

This elegant pin was made by the very collectible Bippart, Griscomb & Osborn Co. of Newark, NJ (an important hub of Art Nouveau jewelry making c. 1900). It is centered by a turquoise cab, with two freshwater pearls on each side (4 in total), framed by a twisted ribbon of 14kt gold. It has the BG&O maker’s mark and is stamped 14kt (the marks were hard to photograph). 1-3/4” x 5/16” at the widest points, it weighs 3.2g. The photos are part of the description. Modernist cufflinks made up of eight little geometrically arranged cylinders. Made by Isaac Cohen, Stockholm and marked ICO, S:t Erik’s head (the hallmark for Stockholm), R9 = year mark for 1967, three crowns and S indicating the Swedish silver standard of the time = 830/1000. Beautiful and unusual Victorian gold tone hoop earrings, a spring ring clasp design with an engraved leaf. English or French, probably from the 1870s. Diameter "1/2 / 1.8 cm. Condition: fine.

Deco period dangle earrings, mother of pearl, Rhinestone and silvered metal. Around 1930, American? Length in total "1 ½ / 4 cm. Condition: fine.

Drop earrings made of emerald-green and white enamel on copper, fixed onto brass. The old technique of cloisonné has been used for the little stars of which one is seen falling, one rising. Length "1 ¾ / 4.7 cm. Condition: rim frits to one earring (cf. pics).

Clip earrings, flowers made of red lacquered gilt metal and small glass beads. Bohemian, early 1950’s with impressed mark Czechoslovakia. Diameter c "1/ 2.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A wide 18k gold fancy link bracelet marked 750 along with another mark that has been rubbed. It measures 7-1/2" x 1-1/8"and weighs 37.81gr.

A vintage modernist sterling silver textured pendant with a contrasting polished surface by the well known Danish silversmith Jane Wiberg.

The pendant measures almost 2" across and 1 7/8" high. Marked Sterling, 353 and Jane Wiberg. Marked Jane and Finn on the large bale which is hidden behind the pendant. The brooch is 3 dimensional and is almost half of a sphere. The two textured areas curve in for contrast...

This dainty pin was made by Hermann & Speck, well-known jewelers of Pforzheim in Germany in the years around the turn of the last century. It is centered by a blue sapphire, and it has a pearl dangle. It is marked 333 for 8kt gold, but when we tested it, it held for 10k (this is not unusual; however we had never seen a mark for 8kt gold before! Very unusual!)...

This sparkling stunner has 2 big rhinestones (7/16”), 2 smaller ones (1/4”), and 8 small accent stones (there should be 9. One is missing, but it’s really hard to tell, due to all that sparkle), set in white metal. The whole thing measures 2” x 9/16” at the widest points. Stamped “Czechoslov” on the back, it is in overall good condition: the stones have a couple chips, and a little abrasion, but the stones are so sparkly it’s hard to spot these. Matching the impressive pendant necklace by the same maker that is also available in my store, the "warrior" bracelet presented here was wrought by maestro Anton in the "mozaico Azteca" style that the Los Castillo workshop revived in Taxco's "golden Deco" years.
