Chinese brush painting by Nie Ou. A well known female artist in China, she was born in 1948. She graduated from the Central Art Academy School in Beijing and has received several awards. Her work is shown worldwide. This is one of seven pictures we have. It is mounted on silk brocade. The entire area is 19 inches by 29 inches; the picture size is 13 inches by 18 inches.
Contemporary jadeite carving. This is a very nice newer carving. The color is unusual, light blue green with a little amber spread here and there. Carved as an ear of corn with the husk peeled off, a small plant (maybe pepper) is carved around the bottom.

This is a signed portrait of model, girlfriend, or wife of Warren B Davis. There are two damages on the canvas on the left side and a little damage on the dress. The painting has never been cleaned and is mounted in its original frame. The painting measures 7" x 10" oil on canvas. The frame measures 12 1/2" x 15 3/8". The painting is signed in the top left corner Warren B Davis 1893.

This inside painting by Yu Shi is 3 inches tall, 2 ¼ inches wide and 1 ¼ inches thick. One side depicts Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) dressed a white robe sitting in front of a lotus pond. The other side presents Guan Yin holding a jade Ru Yi (scepter) sitting on a lotus petal surrounded by clouds. The young servants, one boy (Jin Tong) and one girl (Yu Nu) are beside her. A parrot is flying in front of them with a string of prayer beads in its mouth...
