A large bronze of Mercury measuring 27” in height and signed by the French Artist Marius Montagne 1828-1879 and dated on the work 1867. The artist was educated in France and work briefly for August Rodin.

Well designed and crafted bronze sculpture of a newspaper boy in standing position holding a bundle of newspaper under left arm and with the right hand around his mouth announcing news of the days , late 19th century period, artist's marking, Bofil, to the bronze base. Size: Figure stands 8 inches long and diameter of the base is 3-1/2 inches. Good condition, no issues noted.

Something of a mystery piece that has resided for some time in my inventory, a pastel on paper, 7 1/4" by 18 1/2" (13" by 22" in a simple protective frame), with old penciled title on reverse of thin card "Monomy Beach", and with modern inscription in red ballpoint: "I OWNED THIS WATERCOLOR BEFORE DAMAGED - IT WAS SIGNED LOWER RT. Orlando Norie (1832–1901), artist of military subjects, perhaps the most prolific painter of the British army in the 19th century along with Richard Simkin.
