An intriguing Bronze by the Italian sculpture Tommaso Campajola interestingly titled measuring 16 inch height and 12 inch diameter base which is black sculpted marble. Born in Naples Italy in 1855, there is not much on the artist but he worked in his lifetime in Europe on several commissions. This work was done after a barmaid that was known all of Naples for her loving care to customers at the Gambrinus Cafe. This work dates to about 1880 and is signed

The sitter is identified in a copy of a letter dated August 3, 1905, from Seth Mendell to William C. Davenport, President of The Machinists' Bank, Taunton, Massachusetts, in an envelope affixed to the back of the painting. Provenance: Estate of N. David Scotti, Providence, Rhode Island.

Watercolor on paper river fantasy scene set in the tropics, 10 1/2" by 22" and 3" wide circa early 20th century frame in very good condition, signed at lower right "W W COWELL" and dated 18(last two digits not easily discernible, possibly "189_" or could be "1879"). This is one of the rare works of painter WILLIAM WILSON COWELL (1819-1898), primarily an east coast artist who also was known to paint in the Great Lakes area, and, late in life, in Nova Scotia, Canada...

Utagawa Yoshitsuya, Japanese, 1822-1866, "Senjubo Aiming at Harunaga-Ko". This is a an original color woodblock print by Utagawa Yoshitsuya from his series '54 Battle Stories of Hideyoshi". The image size is 12 7/8 x 8 7/8 inches, 1864, lifetime impression, framed. Hideyoshi was a 16th century Samurai warrior in the who rose through the ranks of the army to become general, leading the forces of Japan in several brutal conflicts...

Watercolor and gouache on paper scene of young trees along a bucolic dirt road in a hilly landscape, 12" by 15", (19 1/2" by 23" as framed), signed at lower right "C .GRANT DAVIDSON", and signed again in longhand in a margin area, dated there 1894. This is a work by CHARLES GRANT DAVIDSON (1865-1945), an American artist based out of New York who painted oil and watercolor scenes in the northeastern states. He is often confused with a British artist by the same name...

A French oil on canvas painting of a flirting couple, the male dressed as a pierrot clown, she in an elegant ornate dress, the work signed at lower left with what appears as "Jos. Bellet". The work could possibly be by JEAN PIERRE JOSEPH ALFRED BELLET DU POISAT (1823-1883), but further research may be required to confirm the artist. Measurements are 13" by 9 3/4" (20 1/2" by 16 3/4" in old gold frame)...
