Henri Duvieux, French, 1855-1882. This small jewel is a very fine example of Duvieux' work. The painting is 6" by 8" in a 4" 19th C Frame. It is in good condition and is signed lower right. Duvieux was known for his atmospheric paintings of Istanbul and Venice and often painted pairs of painting often dawn and dusk. His paintings sell for up to 25,000.
