Watercolor and sepia brown ink on thin paper drawing of swans in a pond surrounded by vegetation, the sheet itself 5 3/8" by 11 5/8", apparently unsigned/undated, and with no watermarks I can see. If I had to guess as to age and origin I would say circa 1800 English, possibly later 18th century. The drawing is in very good condition for its age, with quite fresh colors...

It is also done with embossing on magnolia flower as well as strip design above magnolia. The top blue stripe is done with applied paper. The etching done by Mary E. Davidson, Southern State American Artist. The title of "Whipped Craem". It is signed by artist, A/P edition. The condition of etching, never been framed...

Oil on masonite panel, 13 " by 22 " (16" by 25" in black frame with gold inner), the subject a female mallard duck among brown grasses suggestive of autumn. The artist signed his name at lower left.
