The work is obviously by a trained and skilled hand. Condition is excellent; needs only a frame. This being a "standard" size at 20 by 24, a suitable, flattering, pre-made frame should be easy to locate.

A finely painted oil on canvas painting illegibly signed and dated 1993, the subject classic goose and duck decoys at left, a shotgun at top, the other props including a green book, pen, feathers, and two red shotgun shells, measuring 18" by 24" (25 1/2" by 31 1/2" framed in interesting black with gold frame, as found). Hermine David 1886-1970 French This is a fine original oil on canvas by French artist Hermine David 1886-1970. The subject is a group of strollers in Luxembourg Gardens, Paris. This painting done circa 1930 is signed lower right and measures 18 1/8X15 inches. Housed in a custom French style frame. Hermine was one of the Ecole de Paris artists. In 1918 she married Jules Pascin. Their association seems to have been an influence on the artwork of both artists.
