The artist is American painter GEORGE EDGERLY HARRIS (1898-1938). Harris was born in Delaware and appears to have most of his auto accident-shortened life in the northeastern states. Pair of small watercolors, one 3 1/2" by 6", the other similar at 4" by 5 3/4", each signed in a corner with monogram, one depicting industrial smoke stacks by a river at sunset, the other a pleasant promenade at river side with decorative lamp posts and arched bridge. The industrial work suggests London; the other could perhaps be Paris. Or both could be the same city. More research could help determine the identity of the artist. Condition is excellent...

An impressionistic watercolor painting of a tree and brushy field, 9" by 8" (13" by 12" in wood frame), signed at lower left and dated there 1929 by artist EMMY LOU OSBORNE. I do not see biographical information on the artist but clearly she was a talented watercolorist. Condition is excellent.

This Warren Davis etching measures 7 7/8 x 6 inches, pencil signed, label from Kleemann-Thorman Galleries, New York included, c.1928. This delicately rendered etching is a great example of Davis's images of graceful female nudes, many of which were used for Vanity Fair and Life magazines in the very early 1900s.

There is an old 1920's or 1930's Belfast label on the reverse wood from William Rodman and Company, 41 Donegall Place BELFAST. This piece is showing its age, as it has evidently traveled through life for some time without protective glass. There is fading of color, brownin...
A truly rare, quality painting of the Seattle waterfront's Pier 7, circa 1920's, signed lower left by noted Norwegian-American artist YNGVAR SONNICHSEN (1873-1938). The oil on board work measures 18" by 24" (22 1/2" by 28 1/2" in an interesting Stanford White style frame). Written in an old hand on old label on the reverse is "PIER 7 SEATTLE 1925 or earlier". Note the fine impressionist flickering technique, which reminds of the kind of brushwork of French painter Gustave Loiseau or the "crus...
By well listed French artist MAURICE ROMBERG DE VAUCORBEIL (1882-1943), this is a large original 1916 lithograph poster used for propaganda and recruitment. The poster (behind Plexiglas) measures 47 1/2" by 34" (53" by 40" very tastefully framed in dark wood). I have not opened this up to inspect as it is nicely sealed, but the previous owner spent $500 on framing in Beverly Hills, so I would imagine that the mounting and framing was done to professional standards, perhaps even with linen. Ro...
