In this case he seems to have engraved after his own original painting---a fairly rare skill combination...

Contemporary little drawing of what I believe is Pirates Alley in New Orleans' Vieux Carre, 5 1/4" by 3 1/2" inside the mats, 10" by 8 1/4" as framed (no glass, but perfect condition). The signature at bottom appears to be "FERRELL" in capital letters. This is likely a piece produced for the tourist trade, or it's by a talented visitor who wanted to capture this famous scene on paper.

Oil on canvas painting of the famous Rialto Bridge in Venice, Italy, signed at lower right with a signature that looks like Gianni XXXX, and dated there 2000, the piece measuring 17" by 23" in green framing. The work is nicely painted, the water reflections handled well. Condition is excellent. This should bring back fond memories of a trip to the world-renowned antique historic city.

This is a hand painted original work, the subject a newly married couple, he in Edwardian (??) formal coat and medals and monocle, she in traditional white with a corsage. The image was either intentionally cut out by the artist and pasted onto a board which was in turn pasted onto a light green silky surface, or someone has subsequently decided on this presentation. Currently the figures therefore stand out in something of a three dimensional manner from the background...

A small tight little contemporary acrylic or oil on canvas painting for that small wall, 7 7/8" by 7 7/8", unframed, with reverse dedication "For Shell Sam and Mina", and signed there on stretcher by artist Warren Boothby. Acrylic on canvas contemporary painting of palms, depicted in yellow, pinkish-red and greenish-blue against an electric blue background, 18" by 24", unframed, signed at lower right by the artist, Shannon Casey. Impressionistic oil on board painting of an early 20th century American house, probably in the Midwest as this was framed in Missouri, 11 1/2" by 15 1/2" (14" by 18" framed). The scene is one of tranquility and prosperity. The house would have probably dated to about 1920, but the painting is contemporary. The signature appears as possibly "Ursula Lee". This is ready for the wall.

Likely painted for the southern tourist trade between about 1920 and 1950 or so, is this oil on a slice of palmetto wood, roughly oval shape, approximate dimensions 10" by 13", the slab 1" thick, signed at bottom left in the image "A. Donhauser". This locale could be anywhere from Texas through Georgia, given the Spanish Moss on the tree. The palmetto slab is unusual and adds interest. An unusual item. There is a small loss on the tree trunk.
