Oil on masonite painting of colorful flowers in a vase, painted in a lovely impressionist hand, with lots of light, signed at lower left with what appears as "Olle Erikson" and dated there 1946. The painting measures 17 1/2" by 21" (21" by 24 1/2" framed). I have searched online under this name and similar spellings and strangely cannot seem to come up with a listed artist corresponding to the name. Listed or not, the artist knew how to paint...

Oil on canvas laid against panel, 10 1/2" by 13 1/2" (14" by 17" framed), signed at lower right by mid-century artist A. R. NOULIN. The beautifully painted little work reminds of Maurice Utrillo's 1920's paintings of the famed quarter around Sacre Coeur's white church.
