This is a matching PAIR of prints, one of shorebirds like snipe, the other of partridge-type fowl, each print measuring 13 1/2" by 19 1/2" inside the mat (18 1/2" by 23 1/2" as framed), both by ALEXANDER POPE, JR. (1849-1924), a noted American artist from Boston who is known for his Harnett style trompe l'oeil paintings of harvested wild birds, and sporting and wildlife art. Pope was from an upper class background, and he had a lot of time to paint...

Colored etching, 7 3/4" by 4 3/8" inside the mat, 13 1/4" by 9 3/4" framed, pencil signed at lower right margin, with "No. 18" notation, by the famous French artist, JEAN-FRANCOIS RAFFAELLI (1850-1924). This is a sympathetic depiction of a common woman of the lower class, gathering sticks on a chilly day for her cooking fire or hearth. Raffaelli found the common, the poor, the working class, and the underprivileged people of Paris and its industrial suburbs to be his favorite subjects...
A beautiful watercolor done in Chinese brush measuring 17x12” and well framed
Watercolor on paper, 10" by 8" (16" by 13 3/4" in a contemporary gold frame), the subject a white house looming above a country lane on which a horse-drawn carriage moves at left. The scene is obviously in the tropics or sub-tropics, there being palms and other exotic vegetation. It could be Bermuda, or, perhaps, somewhere in the Caribbean basin. Original unique sculpture in clay or terra cotta, 11 1/2" by 6" by 6", mounted on a black 3" high base, signed on the sculpture "E. BARR", not dated but likely circa 1960's. I cannot to date find information on the artist but he/she was certainly a talent who was familiar with modern giants like Henry Moore, Jacques Lipchitz, Alexander Archipenko and others who worked in this manner, simplifying and glorifying the human form...

Beautiful geometric print after Sonya or Robert Delaunay measuring 10x8”
This is a masterful drawing with a definite modernist touch, by well listed artist GENE McCOMAS (1886-1982), depicting a tropical house under palms, likely in the South Seas---the artist traveled to and painted Tahiti and nearby Moorea island. The artist was San Francisco-born, and is associated with the Bay Area and the Monterey-Carmel area, but she and her husband traveled extensively and obviously produced art in these exotic locations...

Oil on canvas landscape oil, unmounted/unstretched, contained loosely in a decorative and complementary modern white metal frame, measuring 5" by 7" (7 1/2" by 10" as framed), signed at lower left "A. Schilling". I would date this to the late 19th century or early years of the 20th. Schilling (1859-1937) exhibited in Chicago at the Art Institute, St. Louis at the world's fair, at the Pennsylvania Academy, and elsewhere...
