A mid 20th century lithograph by Mourlot after the original 1891 famous lithograph poster produced by HENRI de TOULOUSE-LAUTREC (1864-1901) "La Goulue", which served as early advertising for the-then new Moulin Rouge nightclub in Montmartre. The original very large poster, Lautrec's first attempt at lithography, was plastered all over Paris. Only 3,000 copies were printed and the surviving examples are very rare and valuable today (one achieved $500,000 at auction)...

Abstract Landscape oil painting by Sam PRATT measures 4 1/2 x 6“, frame size 6 x 8“

Traditional watercolor still life of roses, yellow daffodils and maybe some dogwood, arranged in a white vase against a sketchily defined background, 20" by 22 1/2" (27" by 30 3/4" framed), apparently unsigned, though a number "1432" appears at lower right corner under the mat (I do NOT think it says 1932). The paper was laid on a board long ago. I think this dates to the 1940's or so; the hand was trained. Condition is excellent and this is ready for the wall.

An unusually fine watercolor and ink drawing of palms adjacent to what appear to be Mediterranean-architecture buildings in a landscape, signed at lower right with what appears to be "Ed. Gilmond" and dated there 1926. The artist is actually Belgium-born Edgar Gilmont (1887-1949). The drawing measures 20" by 15 1/2" inside the mat...

Circa 1965 red free form metal sculpture on a black wooden base by George Curtis (1923-2010). Curtis developed a unique way of creating freedom as opposed to formal structure sculptures. Using a 5 gallon pail filled with water and potatoes, he would melt scrap aluminum and pour it into the pail. The result was an unvisualized form that humans have never seen before, a representation of the shape of spaces and caverns between objects. Measures 15" high.

Oil on canvas laid on board landscape of whitewashed red-roofed buildings, foreground donkeys carrying loads while chickens graze nearby, 11 1/4" by 15 1/2" (15 1/2" by 20" framed), signed at lower right by 20th century Hungarian or Romanian artist JULIO BEREGSZASZY. The artist's works of Venezuela, executed in the 1950's, indicate that he spent time there or was from there despite the European name. Little else seems to be known about this talented impressionist...

The style of dress of the mourners suggests the 19th century as the period depicted...
